So there are 2 spoiler characters and 1 DLC character. I probably already know the DLC character. I don't really want to know the 2 spoilers, but I very much wonder if they are awesome or ****? Right now I'm not entirely impressed by the Ashley/Kaidan,Vega,Garrus,Tali,Liara squad. So, do those 2 make the squad somewhat better or not?
I personally am not too fond of the extra squadmates. I don't feel as if they will add to the game, I hope to be proven wrong though because one sounds like he could be a total badass.

That said, it was from a badly-translated Russian magazine, and there's no credibility yet.
We all know Bioware. Chances are they've been keeping some squadmates in the dark this whole time. They were the ones who said Legion was an enemy in ME2 a week before it launched...

Legion isn't going to be a squaddie. There is no dialogue for Legion as a squad mate in the script.
Like I said, the source was not credible.
But still, there could always be some hidden additions. It's not like Bioware hasn't done it before...

One is hugely interesting, one is completely and utterly superfluous. Don't know about the DLC character.Georilla wrote...

No, but it sounds like people that didn't buy the CE will have to pay for that DLC character/mission:Volc19 wrote...
Yeah, they are the exact same. Thing is, the character isn't CE exclusive, so no worries about that.

"Yes, the bonus character and mission DLC will be sold separately for people who didn't get the CE."
"We should probably chat about when we can start providing some interesting details on thispeople are gonna be stoked."

Is the one being superfluous the one mentioned a few pages back, the jackass that spoiled one character? The other one wasn't mentioned by that guy. I hope your answer is yes, because that would mean the other one is more interesting. So right now I sadly know about 1 spoiler character, but now it seems I was probably wrong about the DLC character too, I still based my opinion about the DLC one on the old mistake back in the Mass Effect 2 files.
Edit: Oh, I see that guy spoiled that one too, I thought the one he mentioned was the DLC one. That means there's one I don't know of, tend to keep it that way.

Itd be cool to see them make a dlc for those who have every ME2 squad member survive the suicide mission(or even a few) get a dlc well that's my opinion anywaysCthulhu42 wrote...
I thought it would be cool if they made Kasumi a DLC squadmate again, but as she could potentially be dead and they don't make DLCs that not everyone could use, it sadly won't happen.Ravensword wrote...
They better reveal Kasumi.

Logically excluding DLC I would predict seven squadmates. Reason: VS+the 6 classes so newcomers have choice. It is possible that old ME2 squadmates will briefly be in our team to fill gaps of future squadmates

Okay, so the second to last was a joke. Here:

There's your ME3 squad, straight from the script. I think the reason why there won't be any ME2 members returning as partmembers, is due to Bioware wanting to make ME3 like a restart of ME1 for newbies. That means using the ME1 team, and reintroducing all the story elements they forgot in ME2. (The Cipher, Mars, Ilos, etc.)

I've got no gripes against Anderson joining for a temp mission or two, but that's mostly because I love the "old guy is too old but still kicks add anyway" theme.
But the real gripe I have, that others mentioned, is if Garrus and Tali are susceptible to the possibility of death in ME2, why make them permanent in ME3? If the decisions were made to maintain cohesion through a three story arc, it would've made sense to do to them what they did to the rest of the ME2 squad. All they resulted in doing was display favoritism over the fan bases of two characters and risk losing fans from the 2nd installment which was bigger and more successful than the first.
Bad decision making if you ask me.
i presume they did this beacuseTaili and Garris are faves so the presume that most fans will keep them alive

I wondered about this too. So do we only get 4 party members if Garrus and Tali die? I also wondered if we get a different party member to round out the team based on whether you saved Ashley or Kaidan. Does Vega get switched for Cortez?

Good point. What if Garrus & Tali died in ME2? We will get someone ''new'' or not?
Thanks AgitatedLemon
Miranda can't die in ME2 right? So she should be in ME3 Shep team?
No....

I wouldn't trust an article that calls TIM the "Elusive" man, or calls one of the multiplayer races "drones".
And we already know that a lot of characters do have replacements (Not going to mention who, spoilers and all), but Garrus and Tali don't. Neither will anyone else on the squad if they die.

But I didn't think I needed to clarify.
