I don't play one, last one I tried was Champions and it failed horribly in my eyes. What do you play if any and is it good? And also, WHY do you play it specifically?

P.S. I probably won't get it, I think they are all probably bad wastes of time.

Hmmmmmmmm....

I play Guild Wars....when I can be bothered lol and the main reason is because it's got no subscription fees.

I've played thousands of MMO's. But waiting on Star Wars: The Old Republic currently. Everything else I tried was just a let-down.

I'll admit, that game is fine, but for some reason I can never get on there servers no matter what I try. *glares at all guild wars CDs*

Perhaps I may try and get II but I doubt it. Arenanet doesn't agree with me. I'm not feeling it too much though.

Meh, I'm not really going to even bother with SWTOR. Something tells me it will lack many of the unique features KOTOR 1 and 2 had.

Maybe I'll be wrong, maybe... maybe it will have something great. But I doubt it. I'll see after it is released, if only to sate my horribly annoying curiosity that haunts me in my dreams and I wish it would really stop doing that ya know? God.

I recently found an unused time card for Age of Conan so I have started playing that again.  I must say that it has come a long way since I last played (circa June 2008).  Like most mmo games there are still issues but it is going in the right direction in terms of game play.  Its a pity that I understand the player population isn't doing the same though.

Used to play Anarchy Online. One of the few sci-fi MMOs out there, with a rich and engaging backstory, faction and class diversity, generally mature and helpful players, and best of all - sans subscription fees. I stopped largely because I don't have time nowadays, and most of the players seem to have migrated to AoC, leaving the world of AO strangely bereft of meaningful human interaction.

I used to play Ultima Online on a private shard called Pangaea. Do there happen to be any other Pangaeans around by chance?

At the moment? None.

The last MMO I played was EVE Online, and I'm thinking of going back 'someday'. As to why I liked/played it and consider going back to it: it's one of the more 'epic' MMOs, scale-wise. That and the idea of commanding a ship close to, or in excess of, a kilometer in length appeals to me. :D

Dark Age of Camelot

Albs ftw by the way.

I just like the diversity in classes, and--even if the game is borderline dead--the sense of 'realm pride' depending on the, well, realm you choose. The fact they're letting people change realms on the same server sort of moots that, however.

I also played City of Villains up until fairly recently. Even if the game is really one massive grind, the fact you can essentially play it with anyone on your server [discounting heroes] no matter the level is a veeeery neat feature.

Fine. I have played an amount of MMO's I did not count but use the word 'thousands' for to imply that I have played quite a few in my lifetime. Happy? I'm not.

I have played many in a futile attempt to try get into them but never succeeded,

Hopefully The Old Republic changes that.

Technically, I'm still subscribed to Aion, but the truth is that I haven't touched it since I bought Dragon Age: Origins.

LoTRo & WoW. On and off. Not really a dedicated MMOer.

Played WOW for years, with a couple breaks. Finally quit (probably for good) around April. Couldn't stand the way they were genericizing the classes and generally dumbing down the game. (Don't blame them, their subscription #s soared, but not the game for me anymore).

Have an AION subscription for another month and a half, but haven't played it past the first two weeks. Just too much "kill X #" quests. Been there, done that.

So right now, really, none. I have some hopes for SWTOR.

I played WoW for quite some time. Raided highest tier dungeons and left after the release of the last expansion.

Played WoW for about 3 or 4 months, then quit out of boredom. I doubt very much I'll play any more MMO's.

I play Final Fantasy XI. It's the only MMO I've found that has a decent storyline. I've played every MMO I've been able to find a free trial for but have never played them beyond that due to lack of good stories. I'll quit FFXI when everyone leaves for FFXIV and most likely be done with MMOs.

I played WoW for maybe six months and played Warhammer Online for maybe a month and a half. I found both lacking in meaninful substance.

I will be giving Guild Wars II a try and have high hopes. MMOs really aren't my thing though.

Played WoW for many years, started about half a year after the release I think. Stopped a few months ago. I've also played Age of Conan and dozens of free MMO's, they all suck though, nothing new there. I guess the best one I've played is wow, granted you find a good guild with mature players.

Shadowbane. I haven't been able to like any other mmo's because they pale in comparison. Completely open-world pvp based, free towards the end, no longer online. RIP Shadowbane!

Also, Ultima Online before that.
