Albs ftw by the way.
I just like the diversity in classes, and--even if the game is borderline dead--the sense of 'realm pride' depending on the, well, realm you choose. The fact they're letting people change realms on the same server sort of moots that, however.
I also played City of Villains up until fairly recently. Even if the game is really one massive grind, the fact you can essentially play it with anyone on your server [discounting heroes] no matter the level is a veeeery neat feature.
Is DaoC still online?! I used to play a InfiltratorBest mmo ive ever played hands down. ( EQ EQ2 SWG WoW Lineage2 Aion EveOnline )
Friar! best class in the best MMO ever made, I still miss the three way battles in the frontiers those were just epic some weekends, Alb/Merlin forever!

I haven't played one before but The Old Republic seems interesting. I've had a look at a few, namely World of Warcraft and Guild Wars if I remember correctly, but couldn't find a particular class or profession that really got my attention (I was looking specifically at magic-users).ItmustBeDONE wrote...
I don't play one, last one I tried was Champions and it failed horribly in my eyes. What do you play if any and is it good? And also, WHY do you play it specifically?
The reason The Old Republic seems interesting is mainly because it's being developed by BioWare, plus there's what they've said about the story element, and I've had a look at the character classes.
There are other more interesting classes, simply because of how likely it will be that a lot of other people will be running around as that class.KirbySkywalker wrote...

a lot of u are talking about a starwars mmo? i suppose everybody will be a jedi? will it really be fun when EVERYBODY is a jedi/sith? personally i don't think so. i think they should do something like with the DKs in wow, in order to make a jedi you must have another character at high level. these MMOs are just no fun to me, i love the idea of a game with so many people all playing together, but i dont like how every one of them is a super hero. but if everybody couldn't be a super power jedi then less people would buy it probably. i guess mmos just arent my thing...
I don't any intention of playing the KotOR MMO, but if I did Jedi would be the last thing I would pick. I find Jedis to be the least interesting thing about Star Wars.

I played WoW for quite some time. Raided highest tier dungeons and left after the release of the last expansion.
This.
In WoW, i had just done everything and as another person previously stated. Blizzard just kept on dumbing everything down from boss encounters to talents and even pvp. Absolutely hideous.
I have spent more than enough of my life in Azeroth as it is.
I was an epic priest, but i was a legendary hunter. Getting all WoWstalgic...
