Hi!

I bought this game yesterday after a friend recommended it and installed it on my computer. Everything went smooth, and I started creating my character, but when I click the finish button and is supposed to start gaming, my computer just shuts down like that?! Umm ok.. I start all over again, but same thing happends. I've created a char now (made one quick) but every now and then my computer just shuts down and im sitting here puling my hair in frustration over not saving since I logged in :( Doesn't seem like it's at a special place or anything, It just suddenly turns off.

Now, my computer totally meets the requirements, I've installed the new directX, no other programs running while I play, but still.. Any suggestions would make me happy. I really really wanna get to test this game, looks awesome!

i had the same problem with COD2 a year ago it would turn off my pc after i started a new game when your in russia and you are training part. here is what i found out for my pc 1 your heat sink isn't on all the way and or you don't have enough cooling the computer is turning off to save your cpu from frying. get a program to see what temp your cores are running at when at idle it should be around 49c or so and no more then 70c on a full load.

If your computer just "shuts off" your cpu or mobo could be overheating. That's just what a laptop or desktop will do. This game will run 2 cores systems at 100% CPU use NON STOP. So if you have an overclocked system... poor cooling.. dust/hair clogging the system.. this game will overheat your system and shut off your computer.

Unfortuantely this is not the game's fault. In this case it's up to the user to clean out their system and/or shut off all overclocking

Im not overclocking, so that's not It. I'll test the program gropax suggested, probably to some cleaning cuz I know theres lot's of dust and stuff in there. So yeah, makes sense that might be it:)

There is a rumor going round that the game makes the video card think it is over heating when it really isn't.

I have the same card as you do. Have you tried my under clocking trick?
