Your choices from the previous games don't amount to anything meaningful.

Haven't read the leaked script, but if that's true, I won't be buying. I kind of thought the whole premise behind Mass Effect was the continuity of your decisions....(not to mention that the devs have talked about the thousands of variables they had to process for ME3).

That might have been the premise when they started, but alas no longer. Diverging stories consume man hours that are needed for multiplayer, collapsing buildings, jumps, ladders, insta kill executions, cutscenes, and sexy sexy characters.

BioWare (an EA Company) has made their priorities crystal clear.

I see that Mass Effect must be all you know of Bioware, and possibly Dragon Age: Origins that rare Bioware game which had a considerably large amount of divurgence throughout the game. In most Bioware games you just have this Biojesus/biotroll meter like in KotOR and Jade Empire and then you choose your ending irrespective of all the choices you made previously and consistency doesn't matter at all.

The script agrees with OP.

The sooner we come to terms with this, the less disappointed we'll be.

I don't know how many times someone has to point out that the leak was incomplete but I guess I'll point it out again.  And while you may say that there are plenty others who disagree.

Ask yourself who told us that the script was "incomplete", "outdated" and whatnot, then look at the size it already had.

The script contains 95-98% of the dialogue we'll getting in the game, for better or worse.

You hardly need Bioware's word that the script was incomplete, given the state it was in and the things it's missing.

There's notable room for addition, if not replacement.

Yeah, there's a hole in the script you can fit the Citadel through.

Not to mention all the "TEMP" stamps everywhere.

You guys are so quick to accuse the OP, I can't wait until the game comes out and suddenly you agree with him.

I accused the TC of trolling because his title is misleading and is being used to get a reaction out of people so they check out his topic.  His actual post provides no proof of the statement in the title, therefore he is trolling in my mind.

Moving on, I read your spoiler and...........

There is another post in another thread that pretty much sums up what is the worst case scenario for players given all the "choice and consequence" talk that has been fed to us for the past 5 years.

Remember that big decision to destroy or keep the Collector base? Here is the worst case scenario play out in ME3:

A) Replaceable Character: Shepard! You destroyed the Collector Base, good job! We've found a bunch of technology amongst the wreckage and can make new weapons for you to use!

B) Replaceable Character: Shepard! Good job keeping that Collector base, we've taken it from Cerberus and found a bunch of technology and can make new weapons for you to use!

In truth, I'm not expecting ME3 to impress me as far as the story and choices go. I'm sure it will look great, and the combat will be fun, but I am wary of games produced by BioWare in an under 3 year development window. So much potential...

Just use bricks, or gratuitous amounts of alcohol.

Both work just fine, and are fairly commonplace.

I find it incredibly funny that these people who are (frankly) downright b*tching over the ME1 Rachni decision (spare/kill the Queen) as being completely irrevelent to the events of ME3 - constantly citing the leaked script as absolute proof - also seem to utterly ignore the fact that in the leaked script, it would appear that your choice in ME1 may in fact factor into the OUTCOMES at the end of the Rachni missions of ME3 and apparently determines whether or not you get the Rachni as an endgame ally against the Reapers. <_<

And Renegade players deserve a good plot alternative, being a paragon letting live everyone and every race it´s the easy way.

Are people still spreading this misinformation?  As I stated on the similar thread yesterday, the Reapers do NOT find another Rachni Queen.  They genetically engineer Rachni Husks and the mission to stop this still exists, but you can't rescue the queen and gain the Rachni as allies if she was killed on Noveria in ME1.

Well, we just have to see when ME3 is released but I would imagine and hope that Bioware has learned from mistakes of the past (DA2) and will not repeat them. Especially since they have seen that that point is a great concern for all the fans.

Hey, brief history lesson.

Your choices didn't matter when going from Baldurs Gate to it's expansions, to Shadows of Amn.

Didn't matter going from Neverwinter Nights to it's expansions

Didn't matter going from DAO to DAII

Didn't matter going from ME to ME2

And last but not least, Bioware retconned any and all aspects of darkside revan in the latest KotOR novel. Apparantly Revan was a light side male, married bastilla and had kids.

I get that ME3 isn't out yet, but Bioware don't deserve the benefit of the doubt.

Where is your god now?

I don't know if you know this, but Bioware isn't the boss of Star Wars.  You can thank Lucas for canon Revan being a lightside male.

That explains a lot. Like why KotOR 2 was rushed. I guess Lucas dislikes anything that deviates from the usual dumbed down good jedi vs evil sith. Obsidian prefers concepts like good and evil to be less than crystal clear.
