Don't know where you read that there'll be a ME anime.

Google's your friend: news.ea.com/portal/site/ea/index.jsp

Thanks, didn't know that. I'm more interest in the books and the comics than the anime, even though they're not that great.

How is that an issue, though, really? It's not like there's only one thing you have to look forward to between now and then. Just consider grabbing it when it appears. Yeah, I agree with you (not much of a comic guy in general, but I peruse ME's) but you can just put it in the back of your head for months.

On Facebook it said: "Coming
in April - New comic series from Dark Horse, "Mass Effect: Homeworlds".
Each issue will center around one of the main characters from the ME
series!
"
I'm not so intrested in Vega but the series sounds intresting. Is this the ongoing series there have been talk about? Would be nice with a comic that is not just miniseries.
Mass Effect: Homeworlds does sound intresting.

Speaking of comics, The one you get with Collector's Edition, will it be whole Miniseries or will they do as with Mass Effect and only giv us the first number?

I've liked the premise of this comics with each issue being about one character.

Since it will be launched after ME3 it's the beggining of the ME Expanded Universe. lol

Johnny Shepard, I'm afraid it will only be the first issue of "Invasion".

I'm glad we're finally allowing ourselves to move past the suffix, by the way.

Sounds like a Dragon Age: Origins knock off title.

Then don't read it :D

Ok. So some people don't like comics and some people don't like the books either. So what do you want? Theirs supposed to be a planned anime coming this summer I believe.

I don't really care, if I don't like something I don't buy/read/watch it. Ankle sounds interesting though and so does this comic.

Can we get a homeworld comic of FemShep? It's like she doesn't exist in ME3

Considering Shepard doesn't show up outside of the video games for obvious reasons I doubt that'll happen.

Interesting how they manage it. Depending on the timeframe of each comic, they may decide to go against focusing on killable squaddies, which leaves Vega, Liara, and...? How are they even planning on handling the Virmire Survivor/ME2 folk? :P

What I hope for is a series of really insightful stories which happened prior to ME2/1. Like Garrus' time in C-Sec, Wrex being a merc, that kinda stuff. Not a big lover of comics, but I read the ME ones, and am looking forward to these.

I think they might be set before the Main trilogy

A new comic series? nice. The first bunch of comics were pretty crappy but they have been getting better with each new series.

Partially because darkhorse has finally gotten around to adapting their art style with Mass Effects. No more derp wrex, no more strange green donkey turians...

For example the latest comic with aria is actually fairly decent, especially in the art department and James could definitely use some proper coverage, his break out role in his first comic just didn't seem that great to me.

Phrases like "Now the fauxhawked soldier who'll be running alongside your Commander Shepard gets the spotlight in the first issue of the new Mass Effect: Homeworlds series" makes me hope that Vega will only appear in the first issue and the others will be dedicated to other characters.
Of course, even should this happen, they will probrably only focus on ME3 permanent squadmates.Image IPB

Most likely end up being Vega, Tali and Garrus...

...yeah that just doesn't interest me at all.

You forgot Liara. If BioWare / Darkhorse will issue this comic without her, I'll eat my shoe from surprise.

Anyway, I think it will be 4-issue series again with Vega - Earth (it's homeworlds, after all), Liara - Thessia, Garrus - Palaven and Tali - Rannoch.

I'd say Wrex is good bet. He's pretty popular, and Tuchanka's in ME3.

Wrex can be dead, so I don't think so.

So can most of the other options people are suggesting. Solution? Set it before their optional death.

Each issue will star a different ME3 character

Lets hope they'll also make one for Kaidan and Ashley. I really hate the fact those two characters don't get even mentioned in the comics. Why not giving them comics? Players can pretend - depending on their decisions - which one to buy or get both and pick the fitting one for their playthrough(s).

Every ME3 squadmate we currently know of, but Liara and Vega, can be killed.
