I like how there's comics about Vega, seems thought we haven't learned anything from him in the past 2 games. Too bad there is no comic book store where I live D: Homeworlds looked like it was going to be an interesting series :(

Has anyone picked up the first issue?

'Cause I grabbed it without flipping through it first. As much as I like learning about Vega, I don't feel it was worth it. It was quite boring ...

Is the next issue about a new character? I can see the issues on Tali and Garrus being a lot better, that is if Garrus is on Palaven.

Next one is about Tali and her pilgrimage, I know that for certain.

Then it's Garrus, then Liara.

I might avoid that one then. If it ends up being about how she got the info on Saren and Beneziah *sp?*, I'm good lol.

Tali's comic came out.

I wonder what Liara's comic will be like.

Pretty much if the game was good. I would have bought the comic to show support. But now I think I might just youtube it.

Wait. Why is there 2 cover variants of each issue?

Also I may be a Liara fan but I realised that it seems Garrus, Liara and Tali make up a trinity of Bioware favouritism.

Liara gets ME 1 ME3 and a DLC and 2 comics.

Dextro gets all three games and a comic each.

There seem to be a lot of favouritism between Blue and Dextro.

It's always been like that for previous comics too

*sigh* Another comic about Liara? Really?

They couldn't do one for Legion or Mordin instead?

I don't think it is Bioware favoritism as much as it is fan favoritism. Those three are the most popular characters with the fanbase, and I think the decision to make comics for them is purely a business one. The more popular a character with the fanbase, the more likely it is that people will go out and buy comics where that character plays a central role.

Not going near these.

I don't trust them to be well-written at all.

I'm a huge ME fan, and love all 3 games but I have to say the Homeworld comics have been kind of uneventful. :(

So very much this.  I would love to see one on either Legion or Mordin - and I usually don't care for comics.

Why are all the cover 1's stupid and terrible looking, while the cover 2s, look pretty good?

Anyone know?

Well, cover 1's are all done by: Mike Hawthorne
While cover 2's are done by: Anthony Palumbo

I've bought both comics, and I still plan to buy the other two... but I hope the quality improves to the same level of the series that came before. The storyline in Vega's comic wasn't very interesting (I'd have rather seen the mission he talks to Shepard about) even though the little details found in future Earth were kind of cool, and the storyline in Tali's comic is good, she had some great moments and Rael's part was sweet, but the artwork is distracting. Don't judge by the awesome cover. It looks rushed, and in need of turian reference pics. Never thought I'd say this, but I was actually glad after I read it that Saren didn't make an appearance besides being mentioned because he might have looked really weird had he shown up. I did like the mention though.

And this is coming from someone who really enjoyed the previous comics, especially Evolution.

I know, right? One of them had a human-like body with a turian head and hands. o_o Human chest and waist, no collar, no leg spurs... Strange. And not all of them were drawn without the proper turian characteristics. Just him.

Ah.  Well, then IMHO Palumbo's a pretty decent artist, but Hawthorne.......he's like the Mac Walters of drawing.
