The Same reason abominations like "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel" are among us. As long as the movies continue to make a profit, he will continue to get work. What's popular isn't always right, and vice versa.

Do what I do, and just ignore his movies. Save yourself the pain.

Sad thing about it is that he has the rights to a bunch of videogame movies and he keeps getting more somehow. I was in Best Buy yesterday and saw he released a new movie. All I could do was shake my head and try to smash as many copies as I could before security threw me out.

Seriously though, the only time I have ever seen his movies is on tv, and the only movie that had a semi-redeemable point in it was House of the Dead. The only reason for that is because Lois Lane was topless at the begining. That is the only part I will watch. After that I will change the channel.

I have no idea who approved the second one. Whoever it was should be gunned down with a "good ideas" pistol and a "better talent" rifle. That was easily Statham's worst career decision. Luckily he seems to have acquired a brain since then...... or dropped his agent.

Have you actually played BloodRayne? Those movies are a joke

Yes. Played both Blood Rayna I & II (so many times I can't even count) , watched both movies - and love them all (games and movies).

And you could have just stated your oppinion about UWE's films and not about opople watching them.
Should I go now for eaxmple to MLP thread and yell "All you guys are retarder for watching this crap" ?

speaking of directors, i hear woody allen is topnotch. hes also doing stuff in TIFF according to google. i think a lot of good directors and the who's whos are migrating away from hollywood and flocking to film festivals.

M.Night Shyamalan was the wrong Director for The Last Airbender. The script was horrible, and the acting for some of the side characters was horrible.

Everything about that movie was horrible. worse than horrible. I can't believe that thing was allowed to be made. That said, I still think M. Night Shyamalam can be a great film maker. Signs is one of my favorite movies.

Everything about that movie was horrible. worse than horrible. I can't believe that thing was allowed to be made. That said, I still think M. Night Shyamalam can be a great film maker. Signs is one of my favorite movies. 

The music in the Last Airbender was exellent. I happen to be a fan of the score. Yeah Signs was a good Film, but I'm not sure how everything went downhill from then on.

If there were no BloodRayne games then those movies probably would have looked better but they do exist and Uwe Boll is doing the franchise a disservice by giving a (sometimes confusing) poorly written plot and making it generally inconsistent to the source material.

I wasn't trying to insult the people who watch it, I was merely answering the OP's question. It may have been harsh but there's far worse language on internet forums, that's for sure.

As for MLP, go ahead, do it. We're used to flaming and trolling by now. At least the writers behind that show improved on the godawful source material that was 80's MLP *shudder*
