M.Night Shyamalan was the wrong Director for The Last Airbender. The script was horrible, and the acting for some of the side characters was horrible.

Everything about that movie was horrible. worse than horrible. I can't believe that thing was allowed to be made. That said, I still think M. Night Shyamalam can be a great film maker. Signs is one of my favorite movies.

The music in the Last Airbender was exellent. I happen to be a fan of the score. Yeah Signs was a good Film, but I'm not sure how everything went downhill from then on.

It's like he just started settling for crap. Devil was a little better than most of his other recent work imho, but I certainly wouldn't call it a good movie, especially with that ending. :\\

This topic sucks. How could I know the worst director ever?!
What about changing the title to 'most overrated director?

Never saw Devil, and I certainly don't plan to.

If there really is to be a Mass Effect film, I don't want M.Night to direct it,
AND...

I don't want Michael Bay to direct it either, because he'll just make too many explosions, and have Shia LaBeouf play Joker.....trust me, he would pull a ****ed up move like that.

He would even put very bad comedy and Stereotipical crap in it. Remember the Autobot twins Skids and Mudflap in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen??

Shyamalan made Unbreakable so I can forgive him for any recent or future flops (and yes I've had to sit through the tedium that was Last Airbender).  Same goes with Lucas, although he is testing my forgiveness, screwing around with the originals.

Also, Shyamalan co-produced and wrote Devil, but he didn't direct it if that makes any difference.

Good lord. If they let either of them near it I'll have even less hope for the movie. I'd like to see someone like Joss Wheadon. He's doing Avangers this year and if that turns out to be really good then it would show that he can handle a character driven blockbuster, which is hopefully what the ME movie is planned to be.

While not the worst director ever, I think Christopher Nolan is extremely overrated. He's especially bad at handling the soundtrack, in his movies it just keeps building up and up and it's freaking annoying. I can't say this about many movies, but his movies are better with the sound turned off.

There are other reasons I dislike his movies as well, but his inability to handle the soundtrack properly is easily the main thing.

Can't really comment on Uwe Boll though, as I never seen his movies (and don't really want to either). But the first Bloodrayne game is excellent and I've played thru that one musltiple times :)

The guy who directed dragonball: evolution, I forgot his name. GOD that movie was AWFUL!!!!

Goku looked like some nerd dressed up as Goku going to a comic book convention.

It's one of the only movies ever that made Japanese people laugh and leave the theater and they never do that.

Sorry one good movie doesn't cancel out a ton of terrible ones.  Thats like going OH its ok that Ashton Kutcher hasn't been in a good movie his entire career because he was funny in That 70s Show.
Just vindicating him to continue making this crap.

Because idiots who don't know better keep watching his movies.

Yep like me for example. Loved both "Blood Rayne" and "BloodRayne 2: Deliverance".

So go back to MLP and keep your comments to yourself.

Well excuse me for stating an opinion, I think you'll find that you are a minority here when it comes to this topic.
Have you actually played BloodRayne? Those movies are a joke

Yes. Played both Blood Rayna I & II (so many times I can't even count) , watched both movies - and love them all (games and movies).

And you could have just stated your oppinion about UWE's films and not about opople watching them.
Should I go now for eaxmple to MLP thread and yell "All you guys are retarder for watching this crap" ?

If there were no BloodRayne games then those movies probably would have looked better but they do exist and Uwe Boll is doing the franchise a disservice by giving a (sometimes confusing) poorly written plot and making it generally inconsistent to the source material.

I wasn't trying to insult the people who watch it, I was merely answering the OP's question. It may have been harsh but there's far worse language on internet forums, that's for sure.

As for MLP, go ahead, do it. We're used to flaming and trolling by now. At least the writers behind that show improved on the godawful source material that was 80's MLP *shudder*

I dont get the MLP thing, are Bronies just a meme that was taken too far or are there grown men who actually watch the show because they genuinely like it? At first I thought it was just some lame internet joke where people pretend to like the show for lols but now I am not so sure.

Some people like it as a meme sure but most really do just like the show, nothing wrong with that(except for the bad fans).

There's really nothing to get. It's just a great animation that doesn't fall into the trap of sugary girl nonsense. It's got all the elements of the cartoons of the 90s  we used to watch, a light sprinkle of pop culture reference and also good morals to tie it all together.

There's two kinds of people in this world. People who haven't seen Mystery Science Theater 3000, and people who answer "Coleman Francis" to this question.

Last time I clicked on a link for MLP I had to spend the day clicking the Xs to convince youtube I'm not a fan.
