The first six hours? That'll probably be the least interesting six hours of the game, though.

Shepard's shopping spree on the Citadel. :P

Buying fish and space hamsters. Maybe a crowbar or two.

What, game is done already? Why we have to wait extra month before it goes gold?

If I hear that this contains any spoilers, I will not be reading it.

The first 6 hours of the game? How many missions will that cover?

That seems like too much. Six hours into my ME2 playthroughs, I think I was only up to busting Jack out of cryo. Omega took a while.

To fix glitches probably. The game could have been done for awhile but it still has to go through testing so they can get rid of game breaking bugs and other flaws.

Depends what difficulty you play and how good at it you are.

I don't think each mission takes an hour to complete, though.

The Earth level takes just about 25-30 minutes to complete.

Yeah, fixing glitches, removing bugs and finalizing music.
They have 1 month to do it.

it's pretty standard EA procedure to release a demo about a month before release, and use the masses and their discussion (as well as their testers) to help find bugs and add to a game day patch

I will wait until people read it. I expect massive spoilers in that article. Damned journalists have a chance to play ME3 before us -.- (funny thing, ive spoiled to myself like 8-10% of the game from leaks xD)

You kidding? Firaxis are making an X-COM game!

But seriously, new details are always good, especially from a sizeable chunk of the game like that.

Remember in the beta footage, the trial/ hearing-free walk through takes about 30 minutes.

@Cloaking_Thane - how long was your first playthrough?

Can I buy this issue on my Nook? Hmmm... Tortured until I get home. :-(

I can't wait to see the trial. I'm psyched for that. If there's a renegade OBJECTION option, even my most paragon Shepard is taking it.

ME: 52 +/- on Hardcore

ME2: 44ish (completed before DLC) Insanity, after all DLC (Kasumi, overlord, LotSB, Arrival) somewhere around 52 again I think

DAO: 60+ (inc DLC) 2nd hardest

DA2: 55 (Not inc DLC) 2nd hardest

There will be NDAs in effect that restrict what the writer can and can't talk about.  Take Mars for instance.  The writer can talk about the location and the general plot of the whys and hows, but any revelations and such can only be alluded to at the most.

Basically, if BioWare feels it shouldn't be spoiled, then it won't be (sans leaks).

Never played XCOM, though I would love to if I ever set aside the time to do so.

Guys, it may as well be another variant of the demo AND some co-op, easily covers six hours. I wouldn't hold my breath on Bioware letting the press onto spoilerish territory. But we never know! Hoping for something genuinely new.
