 I got the complete pack of NWN and it works fine but when I am in the Character creation and try to change the color for anything it turns my Charatcer grey and makes it look like a crystal I try to change the color but it won't change and stays the crystal grey color and shows that I have no color selected is there anyway to fix this. I have a laptop with windows 7 64-bit. I would really appreciate the help.

I have seen this same thing posted on the GoG boards several times. Every thread on it normaly ends with someone sugestion for then to install the 1.69 critical rebuild patch. unfortanatly I have not seen a single one of them post back yet to say if that solved there problem or not.

Same thing here. Just finished installing NWN Complete. It's got 1.69 listed as the current version. But what the heck, I'll give it a shot.

Wait, that patch says Linuxclient.   That's not right, is it?

Edit: Installed HOTU 1.69, and followed the instructions in another topic about going to NWNMain and nwn, right clicking, going to properties-->Compatability-->setting it to Run As if using XP SP 3, and clicked
 Disable Scaling, Disable Desktop and Disable Visual.  Not sure if it was 1.69 or the 4 compatability things that fixed it.  TBH, I've been trying to get this game working for approximately 8 hours now, and I'm going to go play it.   Cheers!

Thanks installing the HOTU 1.69 worked and also gave me extra colors to choose from. Thanks for your help.

Yeah the GoG version says it's 1.69 but I really wonder when hearing things like this.

Everyone should have that critical rebuild patch on their computer somewhere, just in case.

Yes, and that patch shouldn't be as hard to find. The sticky topic that links to the patch and to earlier patches has all dead links. It needs to be fixed with valid links, at least for the latest patch.

I just tryed all the likks in the sticky, They all worked.
