This is pretty much my list as well. Although Miranda should be in last place,  Liara should be in second place, and I would have gotten rid of Kasumi for Kaiden.

I agree. Even Tali deserves to be on the list more than her if not just for the sake of seniority. I mean, you can't even talk to Kasumi really :\\

1.) Mordin is vastly underrated at 10, whoever this guy/gal is is a complete uber-paragon for that description ("he's like, twisted, man!").
2.) Call me biased, but Jack underrated at 8 too. Basically the same things said of Wrex can be said for her too.
3.) Kasumi, but no Zaeed???
4.) Liara. I mean, this writer can't even find a good reason to hate her that high "She's, uh, the daughter of a Matriarch (fascinating! ... not) and she became the Shadow Broker" (right place/right time, nothing more, and she's certainly not the only character who could fill that role, Miranda would probably be better) "and, uh... and she's back for ME3 now, yay!!!!"
5.) Team Dextro overrating. You can tell the writer simply likes them best, and ranked accordingly.

A list of "best" characters is an automatically subjective list. I can make a list of the "best" video games, but it depends on what you enjoy that makes it the "best." It's the same with the characters. I don't find Thane an interesting character, but I can see why others think he's the shiznit. It's my opinion that I find him dissinteresting, and it's there's as to why they find him the opposite.

I can agree with this. Mordin is a great character even if he isn't in my top five.

Aww I love how everyone is all "Garrus/Tali are overrated" because their favorite character wasn't number 1 on some writer's list of best characters. The nerd rage sustains me.

The quality of writing is subjective as well. Any form of art is subjective, which is why in writing (as well as film, video games, music, etc.) you will never have a "best", and it nearly always turns into "favorite.

Although I disagree with the least I do believe Tali and Garrus should be on their just not at the top.
