Nice stats, hope the ammo cap boost works properly this time around.

Hopefully we do get light armour options too

And keeping the Kestrel armour would be cool

I don't give a crap about this new armor!!! All I want is my blood Dragon armor!!!!

 Blood Dragon Armor:wub:

Besides I know I won't preorder so I know I won't get it unless it becomes part of the N7 Network...

I actually like this armor - I'm usually more of a Sniper, so I try to keep my distance - but this would be awesome if I knew I was in close quarters.

I'd also love to customize it, that always annoyed me in ME2.

Well if the armor is customizable then you can just replace the torso piece with something else as it appears the chest is the biggest piece.

Love it, was really happy to hear Vega wouldn't be the only one to get to wear that style of armor.

In the future all armor will have built-in flashlights.

Even the ones made of fabric.

Damn straight. I wish someone from Bioware would answer this question. It is not life and death one, for sure. But I want to know as I am biiiiiig fan of customization.

To be honest all I really want to change is the red to blue. Heh. Or maybe switch the colors around a bit.

It's a cool picture someone posted. :)

It's a minor issue.

I've experienced if you change your weapons from a Locker after equipping the Off-Hand Spare Ammo Pack there some strange things that go on with the ammo counter.

So you'd have to bypass the problem with changing the armor piece then re-equipping it in Shepard's room after making any change to your loadout and/or saving and reloading during a mission. Also don't access any Weapon Lockers in a level. It also happens to the Terminus Armor.

Here's an old thread that goes into it a bit: social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/128/index/2265994
And I've found it talked about a bit on the wiki: Talk:Armor_Customization#Bug_with_ammo_bonuses

...and available only if you preorder from Gamestop. [censored].

So far the best-looking armor and they limit its distribution because of some backroom deal.

Also in Russia, if you pre-order from Ozon.

I have so mixed feelings about my preorder from 1c right now...

Mixed since Kestrel gives +30% melee damage, +5% headshot damage, +11% weapon damage, + 25% shields and +5% heavy ammo capacity. Will Kestrel be nerfed or Defender will look rather pale?

Obligatory full face masks were the death of DLC armour in my opinion. In a soap opera where facial expression is so important, I want to see my bloody face.

It's a game, you don't like it, don't wear it.  They're premium designed suits.  They were meant to be optimally designed for aesthetics as well as being somewhat unique, the helmets stand them out as being different from the custom batches (Collector Armor needs the helmet to look the full effect).  Blood Dragon Armor withstanding as being one of the best  Caster Armors.  Granted, they should focus more on Modular Armor Designs for all the games.

As for Multiplayer, it's co-op, a completely optional tie in which is just for enhancing elements of the single player without actually effecting the story.  You're not Shepard, you're a Human (class) or a variety of other Alien lookalike species as (class).  Their design is obviously going to be less styalized and more about getting into the multiplayer.

Must be nerfed, if we ever get Kestrel armor.

They
included option where Shepard's helmet will go away at every dialogue
cutscene, I THINK they said this before. So might be why that armor
doesn't seem to have helmet on. And might be that it won't be
customizable.

Last time I was here, they said they would give you all the weapons and armor you had in ME2. So I guess they will nerf them a bit. Even if they won't, I won't use the Kestler armor anymore as I'm sure there are cooler armor pieces in this game.

this armor is cool, quite bulky but cool. But this is my question: is it possible to use that without that helmet??? If I wanted an idiot with an helmet I would have bought halo!

There's some pics floating around showing Shep wearing a standard helmet with the armor. It might be placeholder though, the helmet colors don't really match the armor.

Jeez, could they make it any bulkier? lol Well since they are bringing back heavy armor maybe they'll bring back light armor as well.

This armor was designed with the soldier class in mind.  Look at that stats so bulky makes sense.

Maybe, or maybe not so people won't be "missing" anything.

But looking at that armor, stats aren't that imported to me.
