I am still curious why they dropped Ginny McSwain. I am wondering if the matrix tool shown in the Pulse called for a new style of directing that they decided was better done in house.

Ginny McSwain only worked on ME1, and was only one of three VO directors.  Caroline Livingstone was one of those three and was sole VO director on ME2.
