God, it's only 2 months away...

Nice Pulse. But for all that's been out I'd like to hear about exploration, customization, and other gameplay systems.

Hmm. Wonder who that is... although I can think of one squad member who irrevocably fits that description.

The leader of the Eclipse is the only merc boss we've yet to meet, so that's not surprising. Should be an interesting situation.

We've met (and killed?) the leader of the Blood Pack? When was this? My memory fails me..

Anyone know who Sederis is? The name sounds familiar.

"Brainchild of asari commando Jona Sederis, Eclipse was incorporated as a "proactive" security company. Influenced by asari and salarian military doctrine, Eclipse specializes in sabotage, assassination, and personal and organizational security. Although Citadel governments regard the corporation with suspicion, it's embraced in the Skyllian Verge and Terminus Systems.

Early on, Sederis sought government contracts to establish market share against the better-established Blue Suns. Her agency scored a galactic PR coup by retaking several space stations captured by the Anhur People's Liberation Army and neutralizing its leaders, a victory Eclipse's marketing department never ceases trumpeting.

Based on Omega Station, Eclipse controls nearly 20% of the asteroid's real estate. Its services range from mech repair to open warfare, although assassination is reserved for meeting wider, longer-term company goals (for instance, preemptive strikes against pirates rather than murdering spouses for insurance money.) Despite numerous reports, Eclipse denies sabotaging or kidnapping business rivals. "

I feel I ought to point out that James Vega used to be James Sanders once upon a time. I'm not saying that a similar mistake was made again, but it is something to consider before jumping to conclusions.

Also, I hope you searched the Mass Efect wiki for that name and didn't simply pull that from memory, because that would be frightening.

Weryloc Guld (spelling?) The Biotic Krogan at the end of Modin's loyalt mission, right before you get to Maelon.

Wow was kind of a big spoiler, but I saw it coming so I don't mind. Also nice episode hopefully we'll be getting a lot of this in the coming months.

Seriously, does anybody at Bioware not fully realise that there are people on the bsn who examine every frame of every video released? It's my own fault for examining the image, but I really didn't want to know that. I'm not even a "I don't want to know anything before the game comes out" kind of guy. That's just too, too much. It sucks. I like that character.

I wouldn't be surprised if he did pull it from his brain, but thats not that wierd to be honest. This is the ME boards filled with dedicated fans who pour over every bit of ME lore they can to sate their hunger and curiosity. I remember having a lively discussion about turians culture a month or two ago that involved "lore masters" like that. Like how turians in times of war, instead of handing out pamphlets of how to hide under tables (like my country did) hands out pamphlets that gives instructions on how to create anti-vehicle bombs using household items.

Well, I copypasta'd the Codex entry, but I knew that's where the name could be found.

Always a pleasure to learn more about the field I'm going to school for. BioWare is top of the game for voice acting prowess, no doubt. Can't wait to join in the fun someday. It's inspiring.

Love, love, love the tidbits about finding Shepard's humanity more.

I didn't get the spoilers, probably best if I don't. Except for one of the comments on the youtube video. This is the second time something gets spoiled for me because of someones lousy comments, didn't that guy  think that someone else would be able to see that too.

Oh no doubt :D but seeing as he's a Spectre now I hope for some dialogue were we can see/hear real friction between them during missions.

All this talk of crying among the developers, this game better make me shed some tears as well...manly, of course.

Anyone else find it silly that they're showing scenes from ME2 in a video supposedly on ME3?

Call me a nitpicker, but it doesn't make the slightest sense. They really refuse to show us anything on this game, it seems.

There was some ME1 in there too.

I do really hope FemShep gets a chance to be snarky to Kaidan in ME3. Seriously, mine is kind of justifiably annoyed that he didn't even give her a chance to explain, and is looking forward to giving him a taste of his own medicine.

Anyway, on the potential spoilers, if I were Bioware (or any other company that ever releases anything with potential spoilers in it), I would totally seed it with false information. Stuff like, I dunno, illusive_man_death or krogan_stripper_discussion or whatever.

Um... I played ME1 and ME2 together and they didn't really sound noticably different. :/ Was this because I played Paragon or is there some nostalgia-fog glasses-wearing going on here?

Guld didn't actually found the Blood Pack. Codex says that it used to be a random Terminus vorcha gang until some exiled battlemaster named Ganar Wrang took charge and turned it into a more organized private army. According to a CDN update Ganar Yulaz, another member of Wrang's clan, is the CEO of the Blood Pack as of 2185.

It seems that Guld was actually one of the Blood Pack's most well-known clients, or a member of the board of directors, or something, not the man in charge.

She hasn't hit the mark for me nearly as much as she did in the first game, but the snippet we got here was alright.

I really hope that Jen Hale tones down the level of malice in her voice, though. To me she sounded more unstable than intimidating in ME2.

I can somewhat agree with this. Hale in ME2, to me at least, felt like she was trying too hard in most of her scenes. This lead to all sorts of imbalances and added unexpected emotion that can further hurt what you meant to say which the paraphrasing already damages to begin with. She was much more stable in ME1 and I am unsure what caused the change. (perhaps over confidence? New VO direction asking her to be edgier? Who knows)

Meer on the othe hand, while far less expresive is much more stable and predictable in his lines and is much less likely to surprise you (at least in a bad way) when selecting dialogue. I felt his performance was rather poor in ME1 but while I can't put my finger on it he has improved for ME2.

Neither are perfect but for the time being I prefer meer's voice work, at least from ME2.

That was an interesting Pulse episode. It's always nice to see another aspect of the game, as well as a sneak peak at the development process. A small, but nice, refresher in anticipation.
