Bought both Legacy and Mota. Enjoyed both, especially Legacy. Plan to get Item Pack 2 since it's gear is less broken and the Exiled Prince in a few weeks.

Excluding the "free" DLC packs that you could get with the Signature Edition/New Game Purchase/Pre-Orders, did you actually buy any DLC packs for Dragon Age II?

I didn't buy any. And I bought everything except the Darkspawn Chronicles and Leliana's Song for Origins. Dragon Age II just wasn't that interesting to me.

  ... or disgust?

Didn't and won't.
DA2 will never, ever, again, infect any computer or console I own. :pinched:

Any more dlc for it is therefore unnecessary.

I will save that money for something that is worth it ... like Skyrim dlc.

I bought most of the DLC for DA:O, and most of it wasn't as good as it could have been. Especially Witch Hunt was questionable, all the more considering the marketing.

I finished DA2 twice long before Legacy was released, and had no desire at all to spend more money on it. From what I hear they got rid of some of the problems the main game should never have had, which isn't really that big a triumph. And it seems Bioware put more effort in these DLCs than in the ones for DA:O, which is simply frustrating.

I bought the dlc's and enjoyed them. The dlc's in my opinion are the best I have played in a very long time. Dare I say surpassing lotsb from me2. If they continue making dlc like legacy and mota I will continue to purchase.

I got the exiled prince with the game but since I heartily disliked everything about DA2 I won't buy any more

I bought EVERY DLC for Mass Effect 1 and 2, EVERY DLC for Dragon Age Origions but for Dragon Age 2, after the major let down of the entire game and huge glitches that made certain quest impossible to do for the first month of the games release along with a glitched achievement section for the Prince I beat the game in 3 days and haven't touched it since.... As for Dragon Age Origions, Mass Effect, and Mass Effect 2 I have replayed all of them more than 4 times each. (: Thats right... 4 or more times for each one of them. As for DA2, horrible game, so DLC is something I will not touch for it, BUT!!!! I will say the whole DLC with Felicia Day in it has me very interested simply because I love her in The Guild and her music video "Do You Wanna Date My Avatar?".

Really? That... actually kind of surprises me. What's your opinion on them?

One of them forced me to wield a very oversized two-handed weapon, wich I find rather lame. Too anime for me (Legacy). The other had an elf chic wich had a neck twice as long as everyone else. I was also attacked by rabbid pokemons in it (ghasts), and to top it off I got to watch the elf lady do a backflip 50 feet through the air. The last bit made me question why I had to break into the palace using the front door, when she could have just jumped in through a window near the end of the sneak-mission.

Those are the most shallow criticisms I've heard in a long time. It sounds like you are simply determined to hate everything.

Still I can totally understand what bothers him about it. These critcisims have a lot to do with some of the problems I had with DA2. And seriously, he bought both DLCs, how much more of a chance can you give them? Determination to simply hate something looks different to me.

Not really. I did like alot of things in DA2. The party banter, for example. But the things I mentioned above are things I consider to be immersion-breaking.

And here we go again...what is your point exactly?

The point is in the post you quoted. There's no hidden agenda here. And BioWare certainly doesn't mind feedback, be it positive or negative, as long as it's tempered with common sense.

I've bought them all, so far (besides item packs, low res pack 1 on PC? Ewww.)
They were actually very good. Much more enjoyable, combat-wise, than the base game.

I'll buy them when the ultimate edition comes out. Origins ultimate I picked up for a nice 10$ during their promo sales in winter ^_^

Bought them all so far, enjoyed everything a lot except Mark of the Assassin (mostly due to a personal dislike of the Tallis character).

No. I had so much trouble with my DAO DLC I am never again wasting money on anything EA sells, particularly DLC. I bought all the DAO DLC and in the end none of it worked. The tech support people at EA were idiots. They literally offered me NO information I hadn't found for myself searching on Google. In the end they didn't want to bother and, after I had invested hours of my valuable time jumping though their hoops, they offered me store credit rather than lift an actual finger to figure out what the problem was. I don't think they even have second tier support, and if they do I guess I just don't rate it.

Screw them. If they don't want my money someone else does.

I think I bought Legacy awhile back - but haven't actually played it. I attempted to start a DA2 game and get up to the Legacy content, but gave up somewhere in Act 1.

Yep, I bought DA2, then DA:O (which included all the DLCs, but I only played Awakenings and had no interest in the others), then Legacy, then MOTA, then Exiled Prince.

I think Legacy is my favorite between it and MOTA, but that might be only because Legacy doesn't have Tallis in it LOL Otherwise, prefer all the banter and such in MOTA over Legacy.

Exiled Prince is just an extra character, and I'm finding I'm not fond of him, and he seems superfluous to the story. He's not as well-rounded and lovingly crafted as the other companions.
