Which is better for Carver, become your friend or rivalry? What bonuses does it give if he is your rival and friendship (Eg. +10 Defense Resistance, Gives +5 Damage to Hawke)?

Bethany and Carver have the Force Mage and Templar specializations respectively, so there are no Friendship/Rival bonuses for them.

No bonus for either but, it is a challenge to rival Bethany or friend Carver. I like the differing reactions and dialog when you go max either way with either of them, especially Carver in act 3.
