I can't even scroll through this section anymore without running into spoilers. Just now. JUST THIS SECOND. Some **** (and he deserves every letter) posted a spoiler in the GOD DAMN TITLE.

I know half of you guys have read the leaks and half you guys want to discuss it. GOOD. USE SPOILER TAGS. THis is getting ridiculous . Not everyone wants to be spoiled to death just by reading a bloody topic title. I don't even know how its possible to spoil a game in  3 words but you guys have been doing it every day.

I think mods should start banning people over this. it's getting way out of hand.

How about just leaving the BSN until the game is released?

Posting spoilers is against the rules. Atleast without spoiler tags. I don't see why I have to accommodate the rule breakers. They can use their little forum groups and spoil all they want. why ruin it for everyone?

Easiest way is to just leave the boards. You should be okay until the game comes out, it's only 60 days away.

Yes, it is against the rules.  You are technically in the right.  But be realistic.  With a leak like the one that has happened, you are going to run into spoilers on the internet, especially on the game's forums, even if it is against the rules.  You can site the rules all you want, but you should be aware of the very real risk.  They can't keep up with banning everybody who posts a spoiler.  It's the information age.

Again. Rule breakers should be punished not rewarded. If you guys want to spoil yourselves to oblivion do so. Use spoiler tags. Or forum groups.

There is no compromise here.

People shouldn't post spoilers in thread titles.

However, this close to release - and given the fact that a script was leaked - spoilers are inevitable. If you want to stay on BSN then chances are that things will get spoilt for you.

This forum has no forum tag system like many others do. Colour-coding the spoilers to the same colour as te background doesn't always work when that comment is quoted. The only way to wanr of spoilers is putting a warning in the title, and not everyone does that - some things you might consider to be a spoiler might be considered common knowledge by someone else.

If you're fussed about spoilers, your safest bet is to leave BSN until you've played it. I myself will probably leave after the demo is released.

Fact is a lot of folks aren't thinking or concern with spoiling things for others, so sincerely just leave the board until the game releases. Soon as the demo comes out I won't be on BSN until after I beat the actual game.

Best advice I can give ya friend.

It needs to be a banable offense. Clearly I'm not just "stumbling" into a spoiler here and there. It's like I turn a corner and I run into a spoiler. People spoiling need to be punished. There is no compromise for this.

You don't have to compromise the fact that you are in the right.  But it's called acceptance.  Some things are the way they are.

I actually agree with Donnstar, Its against the rules and people should be decent to the other half of users who havent read the leak. Other users should be able to discuss the game without having the plot spoiled for them.

Agree with Donnstar. I know it is inevitable, but that doesn't make it any more excusable.

To be fair, every second you spend on here is a risk you're taking. Best to take your leave for the time being and join us back in March. Not to mention some people include spoilers in their titles, when it is against the forum rules.

WHAT
ARE

GUYS

UNDERSTANDING?

They need to be punished if they are breaking the rules. I don't have to do anything to accommodate them. They are in the wrong. They are the vermin.  They deserve punishment.

Also, I'm not just stumbling into the odd spoiler here and there. They are freaking everywhere. People are being giant dipshts.

And I'm saying they are not GOING to be punished.  Bioware mods can't keep up with it.  So you can walk into the mine field and rant about how mines are illegal (an appropriate comparison, TickTank), or you can resign yourself to the fact that the mine field is going to stay there and walk around it.

You guys aren't being reasonable. It's not like I even browse this forum a lot. An hour tops, a day. and in that short time span I get spoiled. This is ridiculous.

These people need to be held responsible.

To use your mine field analogy. It's like I have to stand still or I will get blown up.

If that's the case. Obviously something is freaking wonky with the law around here.

No no no.  "Walking around" means not visiting the site.  You are not stuck in the BSN haha.

Yes, they're wrong and should be banned for posting spoilers about ME3. ME1 and 2 are fine, which are in the description of what goes on in this part of the forum.

But what people are trying to tell you is, it'll be best for you to leave BSN until the game comes out if you don't want to be spoiled with the leaks. How hard is it to understand that?

The thing is though, you're choosing to stand in the minefield.

It is unfair for people to post spoilers with no warning - we all agree with you there - but its naive to assume that its going to stop just because the rules say you shouldn't. If you're that fussed about spoilers, then two months away from this site isn't going to do you any harm - as you said yourself, you're not even on here all that much. Bioware isn't going to start handing out bans to people who post spoilers (until the game inevitably leaks before release, as every game seems to do now, and I'll be long gone from BSN by then).
