I'm old enough to understand that half the experience of gaming is being in the moment.. not knowing when the moment is going to happen.

That won't stop them.

There will always be trolls that will post spoilers without warning. The mods can do their best, but this is the internet. If you're not willing to take a breif hiatus from BSN then you're running the risk of spoilers.

I already know a fair chunk about the game, but after the demo I'm leaving BSN until I've played ME3. If you're that fussed about spoilers I'd recommend the same. If you really can't be away from BSN for a month and a half then thats up to you.

I'll repeat this for the last time. I am not stumbling into the small spoiler here and there. They are literally being tossed around like skittles. No one here cares about proper forum protocol. They continue to post spoils because they remain unchecked. I bet my ass if Mods started handing out bans for leaks, things would start changing.

A few spoilers here and there is understandable. What we have now is a complete disregard for rules.

So trolls are okay, but posting spoilers in the deliberate attempt to get a reaction is not trolling. I'm not sure I see the distinction. It simply appears that you don't like the spoilers as to you it is essentially trolling the ME3 forums. Don't you like trolling when it's done to you?

This forum is for general discussion of Mass Effect 3. All Social Site members may create threads or take part in discussion. Please be aware that spoilers for Mass Effect or Mass Effect 2 may be discussed.

They need to be punished if they are breaking the rules. I don't have to do anything to accommodate them. They are in the wrong. They are the vermin.  They deserve punishment.

If this is about the post referring to the VO BioWare Pulse...and talking about the certain event that made them cry three times over (supposedly), then I have to question what a spoiler is to you, as nothing was spoiled; as in, no specific details were given to spoil the experience. It would be like me saying it would happen in Saving Private Ryan. Of course it's going to happen, it's a war movie. There was no who, what, where, and when given in that video, so really, you don't know anything, which means you weren't spoiled.

Now, as far as your point goes, I agree. It sucks. We have a spoiler commiserating group so that we could post things there without risking the lockdowns that we were getting before and possible bans. However, not only are many not aware of the group, but people also can't help flaunting their knowledge on what happens to the point where they can't at least entertain the thought of you going along with the debate and pretending that it's just their theory or prediction without going into huge details. It's finally gotten to the point that the mods can't keep up with it anymore, and most of the long-time members on here who were against spoilers have given in, though many of them still try to avoid doing so if they can and usually don't get too detailed into it.

However, the game is on the brink of going gold, and the press event articles will be going up in the next two weeks, which will at least cover a large portion of the beginning of the game (GameInformer at least will cover that). BSN and every other site that could post on ME3 will be full of articles and comments about the game, and many will have spoilers.

My advice? Bookmark the Twitter Thread and the Mass Effect 3 News and Announcements forum. You may not be able to post new threads, but there won't be much in the way of spoilers. That's the best I can say this close to the game's launch.

Donnstar, it's your fault for being on this forum, hate spoilers? Get off then. There will always be muppets on this forum and you can't and never will be able to stop them. Deal with it and accept that it was you fault for being on this forum when the game is close to release. It has happened before and it will happen again, stop crying, your punishment is being here and the punishment will get more severe the closer the release date.

I agree with OP (actually made a similar thread a couple of weeks ago) but there's no way the BSN staff can patrol the boards 24/7.
