im very much against spoilers, but somehow (magically i guess) i havent run into any leak forums, other than the beta, which i choose to watch. maybe you should click on anything suspicious? and also...calm down, i hardly think people who post spoilers are doing it to hurt you personally.

I agree.  I too try to avoid anything remotely hinting at a spoiler topic. And I agree with the OP’s sentiment behind his comments but perhaps not the vitriol and rage behind it.
 
I look at the reasoning behind posting spoilers as kind of a deviant Hipsterism.  You know, like “I know stuff about this game even before it comes out so I’m cooler than you and can discuss what I know to prove it.”

If you actively come to a discussion board about ME3, then you have absolutely no right to complain about spoilers. Its up to you to avoid all potential sources of spoilers.

I've got to say, I agree with Donnstar for the most part. However, I think everyone is arguing principle versus practice here. Sure, if you have spent any amount of time on game forums before a launch, you know how likely you are to encounter spoilers. But we shouldn't HAVE to accept the fact that they can be freely tossed around. If concerns such as the ones Donnstar is making are not expressed, then things will never change.

Personally, I have not encountered any spoilers on here without actively seeking them out. But I'm also indifferent as well. I would prefer to not have anything spoiled, but if the information is there and/or I just run into it, then whatever....I'm going to see it anyway. I enjoy the stories just as much on my tenth playthrough as I do my first.

Some are arguing that the practice will continue so we should just accept it while Donnstar is arguing that, in principle, we shouldn't have to. I can see both sides. I would express those concerns to a moderator though. Not much else you can do about it, unfortunately.

I absolutely love spoilers, before a game even comes out I look for all the wonderful little juicy information about the game ie story characters and I mean every little thing. Take ME 1 and ME 2 before I even got those two I already knew what the story is what the ending is all the choices you could make.

Just wondering, to what extent was the script leaked? I have avoided most news (set aside trailers) of ME3 due to wanting to stay as spoiler-free as possible. I was just starting to come back and do not really know anything about the leaked script, care to inform the less informed (avoiding spoilers at all costs of course!)?
