Personally if I were you, if you don't want to see this crap that's going on, but you still don't want to stop posting on the Mass Effect forums, how about posting in the Mass Effect 1 and 2 secions. Most likely you'll be able to talk about Mass Effect and not get really any Mass Effect 3 stuff, because they have their own seperate forum. This is just me, in my head, it's the perfect solution without giving up the Mass Effect forums for another two months.

I understand what your saying, but it's not like they can predict which threads are going to be created with "x" title, so if it happens to have spoilers, it's both YOUR fault and the ass who posted the thread with no concern, why? You're in a ME3 thread/board whatever, simple as that, there is always going to be a thread like that with spoilers in the name, best thing to do is to not be here. Stick to having twitter/facebook for updates if it's really important to you or ask a friend if he or she is into the game as well.

I think this forum should still be inviting to people who want to speculate without being spoilt. I don't mind a small detail here and there but I remember when the Xbox version of ME2 was pirated early someone came to these forums shouting "omg the collectors are protheans" in random threads. Let's hope that doesn't happen again.

Honestly it's MARKETING.... How can they market a RPG beyond the combat if they have to mind EVERY minute detail in hopes that some observant fans won't go noticing stuff?

the spoilers the OP is complainaing about are story related. now which of those ME3 vids were trailers about story???

i dont see how poeple can be so eaily against the OPs suggestion. the spoiler posters SHOULD be banned, and bioware should be more concerned about it. i mean ive been banned for much much lighter crimes then ruining the game for someone.

Hmm...

I remember I created a thread detailing how one could hide spoilers if they felt they had to post them. Then someone said that I was advocating the posting of spoilers. My reply to that was spoilers are being posted already and that what I was purposing wasn't enabling or advocating anything. It was just a means to allow people to talk on the boards without stepping on each others toes.

That thread was closed and imagine my surprise that people are talking about spoilers still. Yet, spoilers aren't allowed. I wonder, now that I'm not [allegedly] advocating the posting of spoilers anymore, how exactly are people still posting spoilers?

We must be on different wavelenghts. I don't ever remember crying about medicine. Especially if deserved.  Honestly, what I do is no more trolling than the freaking clowns back on page 4. It's just that I attack the talifanbase and thats a big NO NO on BSN. Trust me. Had I replaced Tali's name, say with Miranda, or Liara, hell, anyother character. There would not be a huge bawling fest. Talimancers are just inherently irrational and prone to emotional outbursts. So  really, it doesn't take much to "troll" a talimancer. Simply bringing up anything inconsistent about her character will send them into fits. 

Now onto my main point. Spoilers are against the rules. People need to be punished for them. Regardless of my history, this is a indisputable fact.
So deal.


Also don't ever call me a crybaby. I'm probably one of the few members on BSN that don't whine about insignificant trash like someones outfit.
