Then that's something you'll have to resolve first and foremost. It depends on your precise situation what you need to do and you have to provide more information relevant to your situation for others to help you.

Other people have reported similar problems with certain slim models of X360

I've been wary of the Slims since the 1.04 patch incident; I half suspect some problems are hardware related at times though info is slim to confirm that.

I am having the same problem. If the Slim has a built in flash and requires a HD why dosent it say that on the game before you buy it? Shouldn't Bioware give you DLC codes to bypass this or maybe fix it so it can download to flash based memory?

So I just chatted in to EA Support on this matter. See the chat transcript below to see just how much they really care about thier customers. All I can say is wow!
Kapil: Thanks for contacting EA Help! My name is Kapil how may I help you?
you: Hi there. I recently purchased the 360 version of DA:Origins Ultimate Edition (NTSC)
Kapil: Okay.
you: I have a Xbox 360 Slim model.
you: When i try to load the additional content on Disc 2 it states I need a hard drive
you: Since the Slim has internal flash and my attached USB sticks are also not hard drives
you: I cannot use the additional content
Kapil: Okay.
Kapil: Please give me just a moment while I look into this further.
you: ok np
Kapil: Thank you.
Kapil: I will appreciate if you will provide me your first and last name to update in our data base?
you: Sure. **** *******
Kapil: Thank you.
Kapil: I have few steps you can try.
Kapil: Let’s first try to clear your console cache, this can sometimes cause issues with game. To remove these files, follow the steps mentioned at the below given link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971755
you: Yeah I’ve done that. It’s a known issue with The Ultimate edition and the 360 Slims
you: Only way to get access to the DLC is to either go but a Hard Drive
you: Or get the DLC codes from you guys so I can DL it via Marketplace
you: *buy
Kapil: Please give me just a moment while I look into this further.
you: No problem. Google it. You will see I am far from the only one with this issue
Kapil: As much as we would like to help, the issue you have raised in your question is an in-game issue and being at Electronic Arts Technical support team we have little opportunity to offer any highlight in these types of issues. However, visiting the official game forum at [ http://forum.ea.com/...ries/list.page] and discussing the issue with any of the fellow players; who could have experienced similar kind of issues in the game would be of help. If you do not see any relevant post or no such issue is discussed in the forum, please do not hesitate to start a new topic.
Kapil: Moreover, the game forums are often visited and monitored by the Production Team, Development Team and game Designers and the possibility is there that you could have a direct interaction with any of them in the forum and you find your way to get rid of the problem. Your feedback is really important as it helps us to deliver a better game for esteemed members like you.
Kapil: Again, we apologize if we could not offer you a direct resolution for your issue. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Kapil: I am really sorry for any disappointment this may cause to you.
you: So your telling me I bought a game that never said on it that if I had a Slim I cannot use the DLC
you: And now I’m out cash
you: And it’s my problem
you: That my friend is horrible service
Kapil: I apologize for the inconvenience caused to you due to this.
Kapil: I apologize for the inconvenience you experienced. I understand the value of your time and appreciate your patience and cooperation.
you: No offense, if EA cared at all they would give the people who purchased their product the DLC codes for the product
Kapil: We are not having the Dlc codes ,You need to purchase.
Kapil: We value you being our valuable customer. We would like to offer you a 15% discount coupon to make a new purchase of available games from our Origin store.
you: Why would I want 15% off something i already have/paid for
Kapil: This 15% Origin discount code for your next purchase on Origin store on any already released game (except pre-orders and new releases).
you: No Kapil I want what I paid for to work as it was supposed to. I’m out money here. Had I known I would not have bought the game
Kapil: As you need to purchase the DLC code from marketplace.
you: The game comes with all the DLC, therefore it is already paid for
you: But I cannot install it due to limitations in the install disc
Kapil: Please let me know the game code and which dlc you are trying?
you: Do you even know how the Ultimate edition works? It comes with a second disc with all the DLC on it. You put it in the console and it automatically installs it.
you: However
you: It apparently does not work with the 360 Slim without a hard drive
you: Which is not stated on the product when you buy it
you: Slim has Flash memory
you: Your install disc will not work with Flash memory
you: So I have already bought your product
you: And cannot use it
Kapil: Please post this issue on to our forums.
Kapil: Moreover, the game forums are often visited and monitored by the Production Team, Development Team and game Designers and the possibility is there that you could have a direct interaction with any of them in the forum and you find your way to get rid of the problem. Your feedback is really important as it helps us to deliver a better game for esteemed members like you.
you: I want this forwarded to a manager please. The only forum I will be posting to is the Better Business Bureau
Kapil: As the forums are updated by the our higher authority and they will provide you the solution for this issue.
you: I have read your forums and no "Higher Power" has posted a resolve or even acknowledged the issue exists
you: To tell me that I need to either pay for the product again that I have already bought or live with it
Kapil: You need to post the issue with a new thread and our developers will post on yuor issue.
you: Is ridiculous
Kapil: I am really sorry for any disappointment this may cause to you.
you: I want a number for an ombudsman or privacy officer
Kapil: Just a moment.
Kapil: The phone support for Canada is 650-489-4589.
you: Toll free please
Kapil: I am sorry, we have only this number for Canada.
you: So EA/Bioware is selling a product that is not "As Discribed" and then tells its customers "To Bad"
you: Interesting
you: the BBB will love this
you: Think I’ll save this chat and post that to your forums
you: To show everyone how much EA really cares about its customers
you: Do you care at all or are you just going to ignore me?
There may be a problem communicating with Kapil. Please wait while your chat is transferred to another EA Expert.
You are now ready to chat with Akash.
you: Hello Akash. Are you a supervisor/Manager or some sorts or did Kapil just drop me and dump me off to you?
Akash: Thanks for contacting EA Help! My name is Akash how may I help you?
Akash: I guess you lost the connection with Kapil.
you: I bet I did
Akash: I can understand your concern. Please don't worry; I will try my best to help you out.
Akash: May I know your issue?
you: I recently purchased the 360 version of DA:Origins Ultimate Edition (NTSC)
you: I have a Xbox 360 Slim model. When i try to load the additional content on Disc 2 it states I need a hard drive. Since the Slim has internal flash and my attached USB sticks are also not hard drives. I cannot use the additional content

Akash: Where did you purchase the game from?
you: GameStop
you: Game is opened. They won’t take it back
you: Had it said on the game that it required a 360 with a hard drive in it, not Slim model I would not have bought it
you: Kapil told me to buy the DLC again from marketplace
you: lol
you: Oh my
you: I already own it and can’t use it
you: Unless I download it from the marketplace
Akash: All right. In this case, what I can do is make an exception for you and issue you a digital download if you provide me the scan copy or snap shot of the game manual on which the code is printed and the game purchase receipt with your signature and date. So please contact your game retailer and get your purchase details and send these details through email as an attachment.
you: So what number is that? The UPC on the game itself?
Akash: Are we connected/
you: yes
you: So what number is that? The UPC on the game itself?
Akash: May I know the EA account email id associated with the game?
you: jgriffin@tacamor.com
you: I haven’t registered the copy as of yet
you: All I need is the codes for all the DLC and I can then use it on my flash based 360 Slim
Akash: May I know which DLC you require/
you: All the DLC is what comes with the Ultimate Edition
you: I cant use any of it currently
Akash: Stay connected, I will be right back.
you: Will do. Thanks
Akash: You need to try to purchase the DLCs from Xbox market place.
you: I already have them
But they are on the disc and have no codes
you: I am not paying for them again
you: Ultimate edition comes with all DLC for DA:Origins
you: Including Awakening
you: On a disc
you: That won’t work with the 360 Slim model with Flash Based memory
Akash: In that case you need to refund the product with your game retailer.
you: EA is selling a product that is not "As described".
you: And now saying "To Bad"
you: As stated to Kapil before he disconnected me and dumped me to you
you: I’ll be filing a complaint with the BBB and also posting this chat to yours and Biowares support forums
you: When you buy a product it should work as described
you: If not the company should make it work for the customer
Akash: I wish I could help you with this; however as per our policy that’s the best I can suggest you to claim a refund.
you: Wow.
you: Let’s see how many hits this chat gets on your forums
you: forums
you: Thanks anyway

Another user had success with getting a code for the Ultimate edition a while back where EA support were willing to issue them with it.
As I have always suspected EA support will need proof of purchase as Akash had stated and requested. While the 360 version may not have a code on the manual like the PC version (and as I understand it UE doesn't have any codes in the 360 version) the very least they would have required is the proof of purchase.
Now...EA support is very hit and miss depending who you are communicating with. I would suggest you try again and see if you get someone else. The conversation will go along the same lines, but you know where it's heading. What Akash was requesting was a code from inside the case (the original release of DAO had a leaflet with two codes printed on it for example) though this could be a mistake on their part; they were not at any point requesting the UPC. (That seems to be the point where you both lost each other in that transcript you posted.) Just tell them there is no code, or whatever is accurate in your case.
From what I've read around here getting EA support to help you effectively takes a fair bit of effort and a lot of luck. I do suggest you try again.
EDIT: nevermind. I dug around for the thread I was thinking of and though EA support did originally grant the user with a code (or promised to) the offer got withdrawn. I still think it's worth trying again as Akash seemed to be willing to help initially until that apparent breakdown in communication.

Have you tried to contact EA support again with the suggestions I made? The other post doesn't give any more information to how to solve the issue in the manner you would want.

Yes I have, multiple times. I keep getting generic canned responses. Do thay have anyone hired there that actually know the products they have? Or are they just happy that they are getting away with paying thier support 35 cents/day for the quality of support they get. Its a sad world.

From what I have heard actual proper support, i.e., those who can actually do the work, are few and far between (some just assume it's a particular system I've heard even when you tell them it's not).
As you've discovered a lot of it is just canned answers (working from an established database I would imagine). The hope is that you eventually find one who can help you, and, unfortunately, it does mean repeatedly plugging away until you do.
Basically all you would need is a code (or codes as the case may be) in order to use them with a flash drive as you can download them onto there. I confess I wonder whether they would work with an Ultimate Edition disc though but that's another problem.
There's not much more I can suggest beyond 'get a cheap HDD' to be honest (if you had an older model the 20GB HDDs should be pretty cheap, but unfortunately you don't). All I can do is wish you good luck in your dealings with EA support.
