If this is a general Thank you card then surely this thread should be elsewhere.
I do appreciate all their hard work and they are my favourite developer by a very long way but I'm not going to thank them for ME3 until I've played it.

Except that shovelware =/= non-freeware.Ticktank wrote...
Phaedon.
If 99% of the shovelware products you mentioned are intended to make my money, then ME must be among that 99%. Unless you're saying that BW didn't create ME to make our money.
What makes ME special is that it is quite obvious that a lot of the developers have, let me repeat the old chiche phrase, poured a part of their souls in their development.
You ask if one should send a thank you letter for any product.
I ask you why you think that anyone here considers the ME games "any product".
I for one, don't thank them for the buggy mediocre gameplay of ME1, I thank them for the universe that the awesome universe and experiences they have created. Apparently, it's a-okay to be nostalgic about N64 or NES, but it's laughable to create an emotional attachment to not just the product itself, but the universe and experience that it provides.
And the emotional attachment extends from the part of the developers as well.
Maybe all you see in a memorable game, a slow song, an old movie, or a cartoon, is a product and a price tag. That's not the case for everyone you see. People connect people, experiences, and places to products. That's what separates them from you. That's why they feel the urge to thank a developer, and you don't.
Hardcore, man. Hardcore. My earlier comments are directed at ME3. A game that has yet to be released. I couldn't care less about the 'tons of effort' they're putting in to fix bugs. Or if they had to divorce their spouses in order to have more time to work.
I wish I was as cool and edgy as you.
Especially with that divorce comment, that must have shocked and awed the audience, you badass.
Lol, nope.Maximum effort is something they SHOULD put in, if they want money and success. And I assume they do.
I specifically bring up examples of developers not putting maximum effort and still delivering great products and experiences. The harsh reality is that most developers don't give enough sh*t about what they create to put a maximum, and sometimes even decent amount of effort.
Wait, you ordered the game and paid the full price up front?Luckily for them however, I've already pre-ordered a copy and paid in full, so thats already gonna cover one developer's season parking for a month. And frankly, once they've gotten my money, they couldn't care less if I thanked them or not.
Why?!
Because the OP mentions anything about ME3 specifically, and the messages talk about ME3 exclusively, and not the experiences they have already been through, right?Still, if they want my thanks, they'll have to wait until I, the customer, think their product worthy of it. And that can only happen after I've BOUGHT and PLAYED it. Making a thread to thank them for things they are supposed to do anyway AND for a product which you have yet to experience is premature.
It certainly isn't your right to be a self-righteous ******. I suppose that that makes you entitled, too.But if this is what people need to do to get special perks or become some forum community manager or whatever sheet by all means go ahead. Its my right to laugh at you though. And I am.
Try again.Good day Ma'am.

That's cute, Tick. Saying thanks and wanting to do this, means what it is, and nothing more. I appreciate it if you stay out of the thread since you're not even bringing anything to it. Just your petty bickering. Make your own thread if you want to do that childish crap.
