I have recently purchased Mass Effect 2 from Best Buy, Completely wrapped and packaged, so I went home, opened it up, and started up the game. After pulling out the card and entering the code however, it said that the code was already in use, but how on earth could that be? The only thing I can think of is somebody used a code generator, but I am not sure. Is there any way I can get a new one or something, or perhaps get some sort of fix? Thanks in advance for any and all information

The only thing you can do in such a case would be to contact EA support directly and explain to them what has occurred. I would also suggest you have proof of purchase handy as well to prove you did buy the game new.

Check the expiration date on the card. I'm pretty sure they all expired on January 1, 2012.

nope i have my Cerberus network code right here on me the same thing happens but there is no expiry date
