"Amplification got cut? #ME3 #Sentinel

"Yes - it wasn't working out the way we wanted. It was good in theory, but there were some problems with the way it worked"

This update says that Lift Grenade has replaced Amplification as the Sentinel's new class-unique power.   I really liked the concept of Amplification and I don't think I like the Sentinel having a glorified pull/lift instead...that infringes on the Adept's territory of performing solo biotic combos.

I'm sure Bioware knows best, but this is my initial reaction.  EDIT* Thanks Vertigo!

Hmm I doubt the lift grenade will be detonated by warp. One of the perks to being an Adept is performing your own unassisted warp-bombs.

Warp will detonate Lift Grenade, and vice versa. We have way more powers that can create combos this time around.

I can say we've added new power combos and you will be able to combine tech, biotic, and combat powers to create combos.

I see that some people are worried about the overlap between Adept and Sentinel, and I can assure everyone that they have very distinct play-styles.

Tech Armor works a little differently in ME3. When it's on, it gives you lots of damage protection but slows down your power cooldowns, but it stays on as long as you want until you turn it off.

Also, Lift Grenade is a resource-based power (uses grenades) and has no cooldown. It gives the Sentinel some extra offensive power when things get rough.

You just use the power again to turn it off, and detonate the tech explosion like in ME2.
