Once you become a talimancer you don't come back. I mean like ever. I'm pretty sure some genetic mutation happens the moment you begin to romance her. I don't know how else to explain their behaviour.

Tali: She's cute, smart, more innocent, very loyal, and if you like surprises she's perfect for you.
So in the long run it just comes down to preference.
Personally I prefer Liara, I used to like Tali the most, but after 2 years of growing up Tali just seems to... Little sistery for my tastes, not interested in romancing her anymore.

I'm evidence to the contrary. I was a very dedicated Talimancer like a year or two ago, now I'm 21, and things are different... Very different.

Right right right.
I think not being a teenager is the natural cure for Taliucus.
Thats just speculation though.

Good. You must have a strong immune system. The weaker ones are always the most susceptible.
That's why there is a link between nutrients deficiency and Talimancers. According to the studies, atleast.

Though please make it more challenging to decide, next time.
Jacob or Liara, now that's very hard to decide.

Liara on the other hand while still being very young basicly succeeds in everything she does she's a brilliant scientist, some sort of lawyer information broker she literary cannot die and as the shadow broker she has the ominpotence to know legions high score in online games and wether or not Tali has yet again upgraded her nerve stim programe.
So when your dating Tali you can be her superman, if you date Liara you're constantly reminded how unrealisticly great she really is.

This^ When I was younger I would have gone for the Tali type. Thankfully when I found out about mass-effect I was older and wiser..

Offcourse but there are limits to what someone realisticly could achieve if you add up everything their is no reason to care for Liara I'm sure if you didn't bother recruiting Tali She died in haelstrom whill if you didn't play the shadowbroker Liara will have done so nicly alone by the time of ME3.
Then there are the more emotional scenes Both Tali and Liaravecome orphans and frankly Tali's reactions seem more genuin. Tali VS Liara
Personally I believe you're allowed to go snotty for 5 minutes when you discovered the remains of one of your parents, Liara's "mother" doesn't cut it for me altough to be fair Liara actually shot hers.
The point being Liara doesn't really need emotions because everything generally goes perfectly and is that is your thing...

I've never liked Tali, and I've been on board since the first game. I was 17 when it came out and I back then I thought Tali was annoying, and Tali only seems to get more annoying. And Tali's Cult of annoying Tali Teli-Whackeros only make me hate her more. Tali acts like a cry baby spoiled daddies girl, and she just don't shut up. If I could kill a member of my crew in the game just for no reason on board the Normandy in front of every one I'd strangle Tali every time.
Now Liara on the other hand is intelligent, successful and powerful she can have an intelligent conversion, and from various sources (the novels, and game) Asari are great in the bedroom.
Not to mention Liara you can touch and see Liara with out worry about getting her sick. And her eyes they say it all.
If ya want your Shep to ride off and have the happy ever after ending
with Tali it'd be like this
Tali is covered from head to toe all the time, when ya wanna do her she gots to shoot up with god knows what and maybe you have to as well, she hasn't had much of an intelligent conversation imo. And she'd probally die after making love to her or sneezing on her or maybe eating your food (cause Quarians have to eat different food than everyone else or they die). oh also you'll probally end up financially supporting Tali and any other quiarions she wants ya to bale out
Now with Liara
You'll die before her, oh well, you can have kids with her and bonk her without having to worry about her getting sick, ya can eat the same food. and you'll both be capable of being supporting yourself financially, but if ya cheat on Liara she could kill ya rather easy.
Also with Liara your less likely to become a member of the Cult of Tali Teli-Whackeros I rest my case and hope this helps you make up your mind

I agree with this. Except for the Tali thing; I actually find her personality endearing. Like a little sister.

This, of course, being the main gripe I have with her romance - it feels like taking advantage of someone immature who is in a position of dependency. Feelsbadman.jpg.Eclipse_9990 wrote...

Other than that, I have no real problems with Tali aside for the fact that she is constantly being sidelined in her own missions to pave way for exposition and story content on her extremely uninteresting people.
Some less intelligent members of her fanbase, on the other hand...

Between Liara or Tali, however, if Miranda and Jack really aren't your thing, then Liara. She went through hell to retrieve Shepard's body and that shows a lot of loyalty on her part. Tali's the "little sister" as others have said.

This is exactly how I see it as well.
When I started getting into the Mass Effect series again, and loaded up my old character I was like.. "What? She's like a little kid. Why the hell did I romance her again?" Then I started playing ME1 again and I was like.. "Damn.. I was crazy to romance anyone but Liara. I do not know what I was thinking."
