From everything I've seen of ME3 level design, Deus Ex: Human Revolution crushed it, offering both gameplay and design alternatives to maneuvering and progressing through the level. Not to mention a better dialogue system than ME.

Thank you, that's something I don't understand. Why do people insist on calling it an "energy sword" when it's a physical blade.

Because it looks like a hologram and appears to matierialise out of nothing.

The reapers look like squid it doesn't mean they are.

He has a point though. Not everyone is well versed in ME lore, and the only reason we know its not an actual hologram is because we read the codex. It doesn't help that marketing actually has called it a holographic blade, and the developers (as far as I know) only clarified on twitter and maybe a post or two here back around E3 near the start of this particular section of the board.

Still, the blade is physical.

If you believe me3 will be so bad, why are you here?

Does this game even have explorable hub worlds that can be explored and where we can interact with NPC's, or does that take away from pew pew? And if so, is there any evidence one can show me, specifically video evidence, that emperically demonstrates this? Or is it mere conjecture and speculation?

Deus Ex is the paragon of level design, but that's been true for years. I disagree on the dialogue system though, it has its pluses, but its still a clunky mess.

All of it. Don't expect any deviation from the set path.

This game has to appeal to the casual fanbase who don't know any better, remember?

What codex? There isn't a codex entry on the omni-blade.

Good point. I only learnt because of leaked weapon descriptions.

The majority of energy in the universe is physical. State of matter doesn't change the fact its composed of energy, or at the very least fabricated by energy. What is its composition??

Are you high? Human revolution is like 80 percent corridors, even the hub worlds are little more than a series of narrow walkways.

What codex? The one in the ME games silly. :P

In all seriousness, there is not an entry on the blade, but the omni tool has had a codex entry detailing its minifacturing capabilities since the start.

The final enemy in the game is in fact, a corridor.

I actually don't recall having too many corridor shootouts in Mass Effect so I'm not sure why the OP even asked this question now that I've thought about it.

Oh, quiet you.  By that criterion, any blade made of anything is an "energy" blade.

Everyone remembers that 90-degree turn with the vorcha flamethrower. It's impressed into my memory.

No, I was just taking on two frost dragons while simultaneously fighting a dragon priest named Krosis. They kicked my butt for a while, but I eventually beat them in an epic fight. Absorbed both their souls, unlocked a new Word of Power, looted them, then looted Krosis, who had a powerful Staff of Fireball and a neat mask (+20 pts. lockpicking, +20 pts. alchemy, +20% bow damage).

Here's an area on Sur'kesh where you can chat people up before moving on to the combat:

Also, here's a couple screenshots from the latest Pulse demonstrating that we visit the Citadel and talk to people there:

Watch and click at your own risk.  Thar' be spoilers.  Now, not to put to fine a point on it, but kindly STFU with your endless FUD-mongering.

If you are having trouble finding the definition, I recommend simply looking it up. It's a rather simplistic process, if your inquiry is genuine.
