Tali and Mordin are neck and neck with 1 vote difference.

The VS is two char but have only 1 or 2 vote difference.

Spoil is the wrong word, but she has a negative impact, instead of her being there, a character who would improve the game isn't in the squad. A character who, clearly, more people are in favour of, and who would make Mass effect 3 a better game.

Again, not sure, but (i wasn't here then) I have been told numerous times that her fans kicked up a fuss when it was reoprted she wouldn't be. Now, I have no idea wheter this is true, and fools like Welsh Inferno will have a go, but let them. At least most of us here have an IQ above room temperature.

Why bother posting this? Does it contribute? No, it just makes you seem incredibly arrogant. I was trying to voice an opinion, and i probably haven't voiced it quite how i wanted it, but there is no need to be all high and mighty about. If you disagree I can accept that (you clearly can't) but please don't post things like this. It just gets us off topic, i mean look what i have had to post in response to posts like these. Hope your happy.

But it was Tali fans throwing a tantrum first which got her in!

How does Tali not improve the game? In fact how do any of the squadmates in the top 6 of your poll improve the game? Do you mean gameplaywise or just in your view that the majority is always right?

We don't know why Tali is a squad mate again.  Also, BW never commented on whether she would or wouldn't return.  I think prior to ME2 came out, a dev mentioned that she might not because she can die on the SM but that's not confirmation that she wouldn't be an ME3 squad mate.

We know that after ME2 was released, there was a 124535353 page fan thread asking for her to return as a squad mate in ME3.  Some infer that this is the only reason she's coming back, which isn't necessarily true.

That probably is the best choice. But they won't do that because there is only 2 romance options for Femshep and both are aliens. Hell, one's basically a chick. Hence useless James Vega. I'm getting pretty pissed off with the random male team member who everyone ends up hating anyway. I'm sure Vega will ask a bunch of stupid questions...

Maybe add Tali in there just because she is very popular. Honestly, she wouldn't be a love/hate character if not for her fans.

Tali fans didn't "throw a tantrum" to get her in. Her, Garrus & Liara are all in the same boat. One factor for them being selected was the sheer number of each of their fanbases.

I think most people who played the game agrees with that Tali does contribute to the story.
Not only by her distinctive personality and being the Quarian perspective, as well as a potential LI, but also due to her skills and function as a bridge between me1 and me2. Its not strange Shepard wants to assemble as much of his old team as possible.
