I've been looking at some posts and I think I've seen someone say that there are supposed to be subfolders for save games.  When I open up my Save folder it has an ME1 folder and then ME2 save files cluttered about.  Is that not correct?

My Save folder for ME2 has an ME1 folder used for imported character, ie what ME2 looks at to allow you to import. It also has a list of characters such as Storm, or Nighthawk then the actual saves are inside their folders for the actual game saves. So the access tree looks like below....

C:\\Users\\,<userName>\\Documents\\BioWare\\Mass Effect 2\\Save\\NightHawk_12_Adept_051211\\Save_0001.pcsav
