Ok

In ME 2 We hed to make an awsome squad of awsome Operatives and Profesionals, for a "Suecide Mission" 12 Characters in total, to kill a BABY reaper....

In ME3... Now, we just found out, that you probably wont get all of the Squad Mates from The ME2, becouse "They have personal stoff to take care of".
!!!! The official Excuse is "We wanted to make a smaller Team, so that the actual team hes more depth" !!!!

NOW That makes no sense, we hed to kill a BABY REAPER with a squad of 12 BumHoles, but now, that we have to fight like 100.000.000 Reapers (number mey not be accurate) we get like only 6 or 7 squad mates, end Probably NO KROGAN!!!!!!!!!                  !!!! ALLRIGHT!!!!
Thank God we are getting the MULTIPLAYER!!!!!!

PLZ Tell me im wrong...
And that i have nothing to worry about, im getting a spazm attack, realizing, i might not see Jacob and Grunt :(
!!!! "Jacob was the least popular character, so we might leave him off the third game" !!!!!!!
                                                    !!!! WHAT!!!!   I hope it's not true :(

I'd really like Zaeed, Grunt and Jacob to remain in my fire team, but I'm good with the cast getting promotions so that they have a bigger role against the Reapers.

And multiplayer is a completely separate issue, taken care of by a completely different dev team, so yeah. :wizard:

No, the story is set, but is being kept underwraps for the greater good.

I can wait too, and MP was taken care of by a different dev team, in a different city.

Sorry, if I choose poor lingo.

Bioware have said all characters from 1-2 will be involved in some manner and, while its true you dont get a lot of squadies, you do get a United Galactic Force/Fleet.

You're upset because you WONT get to see Jacob...rofl

This issue has been debated many times, and clearly it divides the forums. It is an interesting issue to raise and what makes games like these great is that we all have our favourites and the people who have their favourites in are obviously going to be pleased whereas those who don't are not going to be.

All we can hope is that the cameos in ME3 are good, lots of dialogue. If they can do that, it would hopefully appease people who are angry at the squad set up.

Everyone is fighting the reapers. You do not have to be on a specific squad to do it efficiently.(as long as they do it in an coordinated way and actually communiucate)

Everyone has different favourites and I understand that not everyone’s favourites can return. I have favourite characters myself that did not make it in ME3. But I’m all in for more depth of the squad members.

As for your baby reaper theory. We did the suicide mission with a small squad with no backup at all. Now in ME3 we fight a war against hundreds of reapers but we are going to rally full planet so that we have different races that support us. I say that’s way more then the squad of ME2.

Exactly.

Just because they're not in your squad for the entire game doesn't mean they aren't tied to the story.

For some of the character plotlines - like Mordin's or Wrex's - it wouldn't make much sense for them to be confined to one ship for the whole game.

Besides, most characters have LotSB-style missions wherein they come into the limelight. Legion in particular has a major story role despite not being a permanent squadmember.

I feel I should add to this.

I haven't read the script, but I know bits of the story and it seems that each character has at least one mission revolving around them and their relevance to the galactic war. Don't take my word for it though, I'm just interpreting what others have posted about the story and from snippets I've picked up on.

Many characters have very large roles in the story, like Legion for example, despite not being permanent squad memebers, but it seems that pretty much every previous squadmember will be on your squad at some point in the game, just not necessarily permanently.

As long as we have Wrex and plenty of opportunities for his snide remarks we have all the team we need ;)

Yep OP. Squad is completely awful and unbalanced. Apparently we weren't supposed to like ME2 exclusive characters.

It's funny, because the majority of BSN thinks it's the opposite.

Not that unbalanced.

It has two biotics, two Engineers, potentially two Soldiers, depending on your choice, one Infiltrator-esk character and one Sentinel, who's also depending on your choice.

It's a pretty balanced team, if you ask me.

No guaranteed sentinel seems very poor design but i was more talking about squad balance as in ME2 there was a balance of squaddies who were pro or anti cerberus. Tell me which of the squaddies is anti-alliance.

Lets see now...
Liara hates Cerberus.
Garrus hates them.
Tali definitely hates them
VS hates them.
Meathead, don't know.
Yep, you're right.  But, seeing as how Cerberus wants to keeel Shepard, this is seen as a good thing to many, many players.

Why does it matter who is pro or anti whatever? It's not like you're going to be fed just the standard military issue political opinions from alliance soldiers. Even so, I doubt it matters, just like in ME2. In the very rare occasion where one of your choices affected cerberus, I can only remember one, what you do with legion, that Miranda actually tells you to go with cerberus. And even in that situation Jacob, the only other pro cerberus member, recommends to space it. Also, remember in the end pretty much everyone hates cerberus. If you keep the base, everyone is on edge and thinks your choice was wrong. If you destroy the base everyone loves you.
