I wasn't around when back when Tali was unconfirmed, so I don't know where you're getting that from. And Liara is my third favourite character, so there's no "guilty conscience" involved there in defending her. Besides, I'm not only speaking about you specifically.naledgeborn wrote...

That works both ways, you know. When people continually bash the characters that did get in and those that like them, it makes empathizing difficult. I do try to not adopt the "deal with it" attitude towards those that are less rude, though.
Funny. The only character I continually bash is a character I've consistently disliked throughout the series. Yet dextromancers are so prone to maschocism that they feel olibiged to involve themselves on Liara's behalf. Guilty conscience maybe?
I don't buy your sympathies Cthulthu. You're the first person to say "oh well, so and so got cut for the good of the game" yet that obviously wasn't the case when Tali was still unconfirmed.
edit: and I just read your above post. See, that's exactly what I'm talking about. Personally, I think saying "deal with it" is a lot less rude than name-calling and personal insults, but maybe that's just me.

Nah, your just a ****. Worse than a lot of other folks around these parts. Truly has no life, quick to point a finger, and hides under the moderators' skirts.
And you have just shown why I'm glad that Miranda gets nothing better than to whine about her daddy issues in ME3.
It's exactly what you deserve and there's not a goddamn thing you can do to change it.

Lord knows you'd do that for Tali. What's tragic is that you really would if the scripts were flipped.

Sure. He just proves that he's nothing but a pathetic lump of flesh, anyway.

Ra forbid someone not like the ME3 squaddies.
As long as I have the option to tell them to GTFO/kill them/betray them? I'm happy.

Says the person with keeps an inflatable Tali doll for a lover. Does your mother approve of your relationship? What does she have to say about faux-xenophilic relationships? I bet she's ashamed to call you son.

Edit: And it looks like my advice was wisely taken. I successfully stopped the flame war. +10 paragon points for me.

Stop spreading lies. I was very reasonably pointing out i want some variety in the squad with someone representing the anti-alliance viewpoint, not that all new characters should be anti-alliance.

Truthfully I wouldn't mind some anti-alliance squaddies either. A batarian squaddie would've been perfect for this but that's not happening. D:
A batarian squadmate will most likely be anti-humans, not only anti-alliance. Though I agree, I'd love to a batarian squadmate. Though overall I'm fine with the squad we have in ME3. It could've been a lot better for me, but there's still some of my favourite squadmates in it.

Yep that could have been interesting, especially as his/her relationship with Shep would have been very antagonistic.
