That's all you got? Pretty weak considering we're typing on a message board. But like I said, my soap dish is more capable.
And we've gone full circle. Congratulations.

I like how you completely ignored the latter half of my comment. Admirals are usually 50-60 yrs old. So a girl half that age is obviously suitable for the task. Because removing squad members is supposed to give them plot relevance and not be there for laughs.
I ignored it just as much as you ignored the fine details.
She's a temporary admiral. Nobody is trying to hide the fact that she's too young. They're just trying to replace her father's place and they need a quarian geth expert, because they need as much as they can get.
I'm sorry but forgive my as laugh my arse completely off - So that means likes some like myself who did not turn over the evidence but did not take the Paragon speech and stuck with the neutral option. This means that Admirality comes crawling back...

I understand people saying Wrex shouldn't be in the squad, he is on his throne..leading the Krogan etc...
I get it, but surely the same can be said for Liara. She has far more important places to be than hanging around the Normandy.
And if Tali is now an Admiral and Garrus high up in the Turian Military, don't they now have responsibilities to tend to. Does being an Admiral take priority to being Shep's squaddie?
Probably not for garrus and Tali but certainly for Liara..
This.
Liara even flat out says being an information broker is a fulltime job in ME2 (it's her reason she can't follow Shep around in ME2). So her getting far more information...means she can now do it partime? How does that work?
Unless Feron is doing most of the heavy lifting in which case...why doesn't Shep at least have the option not to take Liara along?
I initially felt the same way when I heard she was a permenant squadmate, but after reading the leaks, trust me, there is a very good reason why she's on the Normandy instead of anywhere else.MordinKrios wrote...

Feron is doing field work like he used to for the Old broker.
Liara is still managing most of the SB stuff.

True. Lucky you. I have a whooping total of 2 characters I like and one other I can stand. The rest make me want to throw something. (and depending on how the treat one other one he might go into the can stand catagory.)
Lucky you. I'm not particularly fond of any of the returning and none of the newbs sound interesting, though i'll reserve judgement till i play with them. Just hoping that Beta leak was completely old and inaccurate as all my favourite characters were butchered into the glamorised cameos in that.

I didn't read all the things that are in, and while I don't think it sucks like a part of the community, I don't think it's awesome. In truth, There were some things I really liked, and some things I didn't like much.
Though to be fair, I prefer to wait and the final game to give a real judgement over the game.

@Mordin: I doubt it honestly.
@ODST: Yeah I don't buy it. You don't turn a full time job into a part time one because there's a war going on. Feron is almost certainly doing all the heavy lifting.
Yeah her repurposing the network for the Reaper war doesn't suddenly mean she's getting less intel...if anything she should be getting more.
I wouldn't mind so much if it didn't look like she was forced. There's zero reason she should be forced. If Feron is fine she could hide with him.
Frankly if there's this whole "well...s/he's not on the squad because he/she's important and has better things to do!" Shep shouldn't have anyone save maybe Garrus from the old squad on his team. Tali should be busy with the quarians, VS should be busy with the alliance (and doing their own thing apart from Shep. Vega already is the alliance soldier if the alliance wanted to keep an eye on Shep sending two of their best soldiers on the same ship (especially during a galaxy wide war) is a bit eh.), Liara should be SB and probably fighting the war on another front, and so on.
We should've gotten a bunch of new people.

You don't have to buy it. You can come up with whatever little fantasy suits your needs.
If the Reapers are isolating systems and communications as they did with Earth, then her network will be decreasing in volume. If the Reapers are harvesting entire systems, her network will be reducing in volume. If Cerberus is attacking key communications hubs or eliminating vital informants and clients then the network will be reducing in volume.
You act like the Shadow Broker network would operate in a vacuum where outside influences won't make a difference. You also act like Cerberus knowing the identify of the Shadow Broker and were the base of operation is doesn't create any potential issues for her.
It can make sense, even if you don't like it.
