Hi.

I have purchased Dragon age Origin and expansion (full FR) on DVD set (separate box) when they both got released.

I installed and played this game a lot on my computer however when i want to install it on another computer, the installation crash in the CD2 of DAO and tell me "The installation failed, a file is missing" without any precision on the missing file.

This puzzle me because it is working perfectly on my other computer and have no trouble installing it.

Both computer have the same spec and the DVD drive is in good condition..

Any suggestion ?

Thanks

EA includes a CD check routine from SecureROM (Sony) that affects DVD burners, although not DVD readers. They will say to use the Origin digital version instead; I do not think that is a good answer.

Borrow an external DVD reader from someone, or connect the two PCs in an AD HOC type LAN long enough for the one with a more amenable DVD drive to allow the second PC to run an install (that's what I had to do). Or try copying each disk into a folder made on your HDD from which to install.

After seeing a higher than usual incidence of "one shot" visits, I am curious whether we have new people with no conception at all what kind of place a "Forum" actually is. You write the one first message and never come again; did you expect an eMail or other response outside of the forum? If you did, then this question of mine is purely rhetorical, isn't it?

Off topic.  They asked a question, you gave a response. If people behave badly, report them to the mods.  If people don't exactly behave as you'd like them too... suffer in silence.
