Has anyone cancelled their preorder after reading the leaked script?

There is also nothing wrong with Dave of Canada posting 7 tiems a page. Is (s)he posting quality posts or just spamming? If they are quality posts, then that is the point of the forums. Dave does not spam often (if at all).

It's been said that you'll be able to complete some missions after the ending. Not sure how it'll work though.JeffZero wrote...
And I really hope there end up being no postgame. Let the endings be final.
Well, they can always change their minds, too. Recently we found out the Sentinel's Amplification, a new power, had been removed.
We shall see! I hope they're truly final though.

I've read the endings. They could still do post completion gameplay. In fact I think casey even mentioned something about being able to replay missions.crimzontearz wrote...
because no ending allows room for post completion gameplay...which Casey said it was in....also a LOT of people were pissed at them....a lotaridor1570 wrote...
Why should the endings change? the plot device has been hinted before hand in both games.
right...how exactly?

JeffZero: as long as I have a proper (a la ME1) NG+ mode in ME3, I will be happy. Sometimes a postgame is nice for that missed sidequest (gives you a better feel for the pace of the game if you just go through the main quests as fast as possible, no stoppping for grocery shopping), but often it is unneeded.

I agree, NG+ I want to see; Postgame, eh, probably not at the end of the trilogy. Just too story-driven.

There's a difference between not caring and hating/disappointment. I wouldn't be here if I didn't like ME1 and 2.rabidhanar wrote...

The script is absolutely dreadful, my preorder was cancelled soon after
the second leak which basically confirmed much of the first leak.
Sure because these are quality posts, I didn't even say he was just spamming I said he was stating his negative opinion as fact, which most people on these boards can't dispute because they haven't read the leak.

I'm looking. I think it might've been gameinformer or some interview a long time ago actually...

Then those who've read the script can dispute.

FOUND IT.
""It's probably going to be a combination of both," Hudson told US retail mag Game Informer. "We're going to have a version of the post-game state that you can go back to and finish more stuff, but then we'll have stuff you can loop back around and do in new game+. It's a hybrid of the two", he explained."

In the end BW couldn't fulfill their "decisions will carry over" promise. Everything you decided in the first two games more or less will just end up having a cosmetical impact on the 3rd game. Ironically PR wasn't lying when they said ME3 is a great starting point for the series.
It's very much on the same scale as the transition from ME1 -> ME2.

Some other segments were not so good, particularly what happens to one of the NPCs we meet in ME2. What occurs in the leak is so odd a choice there that I do not understand the reasoning when more obvious solutions could have been found. (cannot say more without spoiling. If you read the link, you probably know what I am talking about). Seems like senseless unasked for fanservice. I didn't even know it was an option.

^This times a 1,000..... before the leak, I was a bit of a nervious wreck based on the marketing and PR job that BioWare had been doing for the game at that point, but after it? I am totally excited (dare I say, giddy even) in anticipation for ME3 to be released.Cthulhu42 wrote...
Personally, the leak has only gotten me more fired up for ME3. Only two months to go!
Also, I hate to be rude like this, but.... all these people who are on the rant on how all your ME and ME2 decisions/choices "don't matter at all" or are "completely worthless" to the events of ME3?
Horses**t... their claims are pure, utter horses**t. <_< (based on all that I've read of the ME3 leaks, so far)
