I *think* the plan is to let you keep mods and other types of stuff, since I think it's actually really hard to get them all in one play through... but that stuff is all still kind of up in the air.

No, he is right about the Jacob thing. It’s utterly ridiculous. I don’t care that the script was old. The fact that the writers even thought of such an asinine, stereotypical path for a character to take has me worried about what this “new” script may be about. The fact that they even contemplated such a weak and ludicrous thing is enough to give me pause about the content of this upcoming title. I did not cancel my pre-order, but I have certainly thought about it. I don’t want this game to fail. I didn’t go into it with a mindset of wanting it to fail. I want it to be awe-inspiring and amazing. I question the script and ideas behind it because I love this series so much.

Of course, this is my opinion. Just as Dave has his own opinion and no where in the terms of service does it say that you have to sing Bioware’s praises and never disagree, be disappointed or skeptical in order to post here. He posts here because he has been a long time member and contributor to the Bioware forums and has defended Bioware on many, many occasions. Does anyone else remember when people lambasted him with calling him a member of the “BDF”? And suddenly, because his opinion isn’t in league with the “True Mass Effect Fans”, he should never post here again. Jesus Christ, grow up.

are you his wife/gay lover or something?  Don't get so butthurt just because I told him something, last time I chekced I wasn't directing that at you!  Other people have said it's weird he's here to, he stated he liked ME1 and ME2 but he trashes ME3 before it comes out.  All we're saying is he goes onto those boards to discuss instead of complain, I don't give a crap how long he's been on here I wouldn't go onto the skyrim boards just to state how much I hate it

He said that he read the leak and he find almost everything is against his taste. If you were in his position, wouldn't you consider to cancel you preorder? I'd certainly think about it.
Why should I preorder a game that I think will disappoint me? I could just wait to see how it is after the release, and if I find it good, buying it.
It's not like he said "ME3 sucks Bioware sucks, you all stupid fanboys for liking the game". He only stated that he cancelled his preorder, and you guys attacked him.
I disagree with him about the leak, there were things I liked and thing I didn't, plus a lot of thinks that I'd prefer to wait and judge after I have the game, and since I want to experience the end of the trilogy and I'm a ME fan I preordered the N7editon, but that doesn't mean I have to insult everyone that doesn't agree with me.

Well, of course I'm going to like more my Paragades Shepard than my Renagon/Renegade one. Bioware are screwing the Renegade since ME2. ME3 will probably  feel worse with the way they handled Cerberus.

Of course, a morality lesson. However, this a video game where allegedly it wasn't about good and evil. Jade Empire and both Knights of the Old Republic games did it right. Depending how peoples' Renegade playthroughs turn out Mass Effect (the whole series) will either have done something wrong or horribly wrong.

It definitely indicates favoritism from Bioware, but also bias and hyperbole from the side of these naysayers.

Though really, I don't know what the renegades expected. Being a jerk doesn't usually get you friends or assets. Perhaps it's the writers' fault for writing the renegade mostly as such since the beginning.

Better to vocalize concern. Being optimistic about Beattie and refusing to prematurely stir **** up got me nowhere. I won't be surprised if the Jacob thing really is as bad as it seems and by now, it's too late to change.

I see no favoritism on Bioware's part, none at all. Especially right at teh beginning of the files under the questions for the flags.

Your first sentence shows how much maturity and logic you bring to this subject. Maybe someone should ask you what you’re bringing to this conversation and why you’re here. Are you a sycophant or is it your undying mission to weed out gay lovers and wives in hopes to draw attention to them and not your over zealous view that if you can’t agree with your stance, then GTFO? You should take your own advice. Don’t get so butthurt because someone doesn’t agree with you.
　

Did you, or anyone else who is spewing name calling and venom at anyone who cancelled their pre-orders, even stop to consider that perhaps they did so because they are consumers? I cannot speak for Dave, but the few people I know personally that has cancelled their pre-orders did so not because they are washing their hands of this series, but because the footage, leaks and info has left them apprehensive and they would rather wait for either the reviews to come out before purchasing, or they would rather wait for a price drop before buying it. And as for someone coming on this thread to “complain”, this befuddles me. Honestly. The topic is asking if people cancelled their pre-orders. If you answered yes to this question, of course you’re going to express why you did so. Who the hell would say, “Oh yes, I cancelled it….but I love everything I have heard thus far! Viva plotholes!”  Hello, Logic. Meet best-eva.

I mean, it confirmed that there's an actual story in ME3, which automatically makes it better than ME2

I for one have not read the leak script and do not plan to until I have completed ME3.
Only then when completed I’ll consider looking at it and read the script. Just to see how it changed since the leak.
