Ni No Kuni is a DS game?

I thought it was going to be on PS3 and Xbox.

The PS3 version is a sequel. One I am waiting for.

Resident Evil. Mainly for the laughs. Chris Redfield looks like a psychotic version of Ash from the Evil Dead films here. I will always remember this box for how silly it looks.

My dad bought this game for me at a Pawn Shop. Who knew it would be one of the greatest games I've played. I got it when I was young, so I probably paid like 5 seconds looking at the box art before installing it. Anyways, I love the gun he is holding--That Gun in Fallout: New Vegas.

Kind of reminds me off (not quite as good tbh this one as yours but still.. Reminded me of it).



The box art is nothing special and I don't quite understand all the dislike around for this title, I liked it when I played it back when came out. In fact I borrowed my friends Snes and MQ just to play it and in return lent him my Genesis (aka MegaDrive) the with Phantasy Star 4, Shining Force I + II as well as Soleil, D&D and few others like Buck Rogers etc just so I could play Mystic Quest on his for a week. Traded back consoles after ofcourse I loved my MegaDrive. Then went out bought my own Snes with games like Secret of Mana, MQ to begin with then built up my RPG collection on that while still continuing to add to my RPG collection with my MegaDrive.

Mystic Quest was alright. I finished it over a weekend rental and enjoyed every minute of it. I thought it was cute. Branding it as a Final Fantasy game did it more harm than good, I think. It didn't play anything like the prior two Final Fantasy titles released here.

 There quite a few that I thought worthy of mention. But I don't want to put too many on at any given time.





There was lot's of versions of this game with different cases, but this is version I owned and liked the best.



These one's are personally some of most memorable which is why I think they deserve to be mentioned. Most memorable to me means they were so good I remembered them years later and still can remember what the cases looked like without having played for many years. There are lots of people picking there's based on looks most fancy but the most memorable are sometimes the simplist designs imho.









Anyhows I think thats all I will list as one's that stood out for me in past and one's can even to this day remember without fail and without touching the titles for all these years. Makes them well designed imho to be able to do that. For example few people have shown the new batman game box cover art as their liked, but tbh in few hours time after leaving this thread I won't remember seeing that box art it will fade away from my memory yet the batman version I linked is the game box art that decades later I can still remember without having to be shown it.

Imho the titles that box art if you sold the title and never played it for a decade, then asked do you remember what x batman game cover had? If reply is "I think it had Batman on front but I'm not sure and maybe 'something' in background I guess... But can't recall what" than imho it is not a great cover/box.

A prime example for me even with Bioware titles ME1 cover art I can recall exactly what looks like even though haven't played in a year or more, yet ME2 I struggled to remember exactly what box looks like. Again DAO I can recall exactly and if asked myself in 10 years time if someone says "What did DAO box look like?" I could tell them I think without problem. But if asked what DA2 box looked like... I could barely remember and had to rack my mind to recall even though it's only been about half a year since had it. In 10 years time if someone asked what did DA2 box look like, I wouldn't be able to tell them.

Another example would be say Witcher 2 box art which for all it's prettyness and how much I love the game, the box art to me is worse than the original Deus Ex on PC or even against the new DE:HR which I also loved and thought box was nice. When asking myself which in 10 years time will I remember the most because it stood out due to being well designed therefore impact/imprint on memory... The answer is Dues Ex original on PC and not TW2 or DE:HR. That to me makes the original DE1 a better case/box art than either of the two new games.
