I have the PC Steam version of the game and everything was beautiful last year playing.  I recently reinstalled Windows 7 and reinstalled the game.  No problems running the game but I have to login to Cerberus every time I play, a minor annoyance.  Never was an issue before and I can manually login just fine.  I have auto login enabled in the options menu.

I see this is an issue as I find other mentions of it online, but no solutions.  Has there been a fix for this?

I have never had the problem, and the count of longtime players in the forum is very low lately. If Kloreep didn't include mention of it in his FAQ collection, this set of criteria just produced what Google claimed was

On a whim I tried running the game EXE as administrator and the problem went away. It appears to be administrative rights and Windows 7.

Try disabling ECN. Refer to the Tech FAQ for the string you need to type into the command prompt to do so.

Nope didnt need to. Just changed some Windows settings to run my apps as admin and it is no longer an issue. Recently did a fresh windows install and must not have tweaked everything.

Well, i can log into cerberus but it seems that all the addons i've bought long ago i need to rebuy now.
How can that be?
Might be at the wrong place to ask, but i'll try.

Do you have your game linked to the correct account?? Are your dlc still in your content page??

If so, then you shouldn't need to rebuy, maybe redownload and install but not rebuy. If you don't see your stuff on the content page then you may be on an alt account or have entered your email and password for a different account.

OK...I hadn't tested the login for a while and I just fired up ME2 and I still can not auto login to the Cerberus network. It gives me an error and I have to manually type in my login info. As soon as I do that...bam, it logs in. Any other ideas out there? Never had this problem before. Perhaps there is an INI file somewhere that is storing an old EA account password?

Tried the following and it worked, at least for the past two attempts to run the game:

Right click EXE and choose "run as admin"
Manually log into Cerberus Network
Exit and restart game normally
Should auto login
