so today i went to my local gamestop to trade in my old games toward the collectors edition of me3 i just happened to get $75 bucks in in store credit, i asked the guy about the collectors edition and he said it was sold out but the ps3 collectors edition wasn't LOL what are your opinions on this? And have you got a reserve for the collectors edition?

In store is out, online still can order. ordered my CE on amazon 3 days ago.

Have my preorder for Collectors since April of last year. Will not miss out on this final installment. Learned my lesson the hard way with ME2, not making the same mistake again.

When it comes to the fancy pants editino, always buy it as quickly as possible. Gamestop will run out of them.

i'm not really dissing it i just find it funny not alot of poeple want to buy mass effect 3 on the ps3, my speculation was that more people have played mass effect 1 and 2 on xbox than people who tried to pick up mass effect 2 on the ps3

I just want to know if that Defender armor and the Valkyrie rifle will be available at a later date to non-Gamestop customers. I really don't want to pay tax and shipping just for two extra pieces of equipment....

Yep preordered my collectors edition 4 days ago from Gamestop. So I'll be getting everything for the game so far except for the Origin shotgun.

I reserved mine a couple months ago from Gamestop.

I've always went with the basic copy in the past, but I had to step up to the plate for this final game.

I feel for you both. I missed out on ME2's collectors edition last year and I had to cancel my preorder from Amazon after I found out about the exclusives.

I pre ordered around 5-6 months ago, but I noticed something odd my receipt (it didn't have a specific platform), so I went back and they mentioned it was on the PS3 (when I specifically asked for the 360 version), luckily they still had one in stock. Did you try going to a different location? (For me, there are two stores 5 minutes away from each other)

Even then you might be too late. I've heard plenty of sob stories about how people who ordered a CE close to the release date getting emails saying, "Opps, sorry, we don't have enough, so we'll be sending you a standard edition instead." I actually ordered one for my husband from Amazon in November, even though he wanted to wait until info about the bonus items came out. You can always cancel on-line at any point prior to shipping since your often not charged until then. And I'd rather have to cancel extra orders then miss out on something I want.
