The minute the collector's edition was announced I preordered it, so I'm good feel bad for anybody who decided to wait this long.

Ordered the ME3 N7 CE about a month ago, pretty late because I thought ''limited edition'' was just one of those bullcrap marketing lies which make you buy faster.
Looks like I was wrong this time.

I also wanted to point out that the collectors edition of the guide book it's also available for preorder from gamestop. Just to help make your collections complete. I am still missing me1 collectors edition of the guide book. And the current comics that hasn't made it out to a complete edition. Gotta try and get it all though.

I pre-ordered in November and after reading this thread I rushed to the phone and call my gamestop to make sure I still had my Mass Effect 3 Collector's Edition. xD Yeah... got scared there for a second. Couldn't remember if I pre-ordered it or not.

I got my CE of ME2 by just walking into Best Buy a couple days after release. They had like twice as many CE's as they did standard editions.

Hopefully there is some of that out there for ME3 for the people who want to wait till release to buy.

Walmart also had a number of ME2 CEs on the shelf after release. But apparently Gamestop.com is still taking pre-orders for the ME3 N7 Edition, at least on the 360.

Also, I really need a ME1 CE.

Well it's a good thing I pre-order the Collecter's Edition at GameStop before they would sold out. I can't believe that BioWare was right that the Collector's Edition would be in limited stockings!

My Gamestop just told me they pulled their pre-orders of ME3 about a week and a half ago. 3 or 4 days ago I cancelled my Amazon one and went for GS's site and it said my order was placed for the CE. *Crosses everything* I hope I don't get one of those lame emails saying I only get the standard edition. Jeezus, by the time we finally find out who gets what exclusives, the f***ing CE sells out. Make more, BiowarEA! If the metal case is what's causing the shortage, then just sell it with a modified plastic one FFS.

- Metal cases are annoying anyway, IMO.

I mean, the thing with pre-orders here (don't know if they apply elsewhere) is that when I pre-order an item, I am not billed for it. I can reserve my copy but I don't have to pay a single deposit. Of course you enter your payment information but they only take the payment about 3 days before release when they ship/dispatch the games. So yeah. Deal with it I guess

i don't know if i stated this before but i just found out about the CE 2 weeks ago because i didn't know the CE was even announced yet

I just called my local GameStop and was told that they were in fact sold out of ME3 Collector's Edition. Good thing I pre-ordered mine early.

4.  Buy the regular edition and spend the money you've saved on something more worthwhile.  Like one of the Bioware games you missed buying.
5.  Buy the regular edition and stand in the shower tearing up £5 notes

I really wish we'd had details on the pre-order bonuses earlier. I ordered as soon as I could from Amazon, expecting(for some odd reason) the same pre-order incentives from everyone. By the time I got the news GameStop's pre-order was different(and the one I wanted), they'd stopped accepting CE pre-orders. Hopefully I'll have another opportunity to buy that rifle.
