I was about to preorder the Collector's Edition for the 360 from Gamestop's website and found out that they aren't taking anymore orders. But what's weird is that if you search for it on their site, it's still up. Guess I'm going to have to preorder at Amazon and just stick to the Argus Assault Rifle *sigh*

I've got some family in Europe - Looks like i will be buying the Collectors Edition there, getting it shipped to them and then having it posted on to me.
(luckily it's PAL and the language and subs will be in English)

bit of a palava, but as it's the last in the series worth it i guess.
If anyone in the UK wants me to get them one i'd be happy to do so.

let me know if you want it,
and when the time comes - I will put it on ebay (with an obscure title - but accurate description)
it means you'll have to wait a little longer than others to get the game but at least you get the full thing.

Great...Mine doesn't have a specific platform and I asked for PC.
And I'm sure they're out of CE pre-orders now.

How can they make such a mistake?

EDIT: I called the store where I pre-ordered. Turns out I do have the PC one.

A wee bit late on this one but every site I've been to the 360 version is sold out. So far the sites I've been have stop taking orders for it. Might be a good thing I ordered the CE back in November. I'll be satisfied with the argus since I didn't order gamestop. Thankfully I do have the Reckoner Armor and Chakram Launcher waiting.

I'm honestly not bothered. My plan is to wait for the normal PC version to drop in price, say in a year or so, and then again wait for the Digital Deluxe version to go on special for about $20. Saves me quite a bit of money, and I still get all of the DLC etc, just have to wait a bit longer :-)

My store (Cheyenne, WY) is sold out of the collector's edition. I was going to switch my preorder there for the DLC bonus, but I'll just have to keep my Amazon order.

Just thought people might like to know that you can still order the CE from Origin for the 360. you have to search for it, then it comes up with a pre-order option. If you go directly to the game page it won't let you pre order it. makes me wonder if they are selling them in "stages" or jsut deciding to randomly limit pre-orders.

So what I'd like to know is if the digital content on the CE, specifically the bonus character, mission, and weapons, will be made available as DLC because that's really my main reason for getting the CE in the first place. If the opposite is true, that GameStop's pre-order bonus will be made available as DLC at a later time, then I'd get the CE from Amazon. Please, any advice would be mucho appreciated.

The CE content, with the exception of the bonus character and mission, all state exclusive. That should really answer your question. As for GameStop's pre-order bonuses, that's something noone could possibly know at the moment.

DLC codes always wind up on ebay if you don't mind paying extra. I'm pre-ordering the SE from Gamestop just for the bonuses and then will re-sell the actual unopened game on ebay or amazon. I'll only lose a couple dollars doing this, if I lose anything at all.

Right now I'm thinking that's my best option. The codes should work across platforms since they're tied to Bioware accounts right? Because I'm playing on PC, but I realize more people may be playing on 360, so I might do that to get a better chance of selling it.

Just looked on gamestops website and it looks like they are taking preorders again for the ce for all platforms, but you cant get the in-store pickup option.
Best Buy also looks like they have stopped takeing preorders.

Canceled my Mass Effect 3 360 SD preorder at my local gamestop and ordered the CE on Gamestop.com last night.

I just checked and Gamestop.com is still offering Mass Effect 3 CE on PS3 (Duh) and the PC, but there is NO more 360 versions on sell. Guess I ordered one of the last ones, if not THE last one.

You Fiend ! , how dare you get a second chance to order  the last N7 CE<_<.Well good luck to everyone that was able to order , hopefully Gamestop is not cancelling/re-selling other folks pre-orders(Game/CD Universe/GameStation) and actually are selling more because production has increased how many will be availiable.
