Baldur's Gate 1 and 2. I just can't seem to get into them. I'm not sure why. I can't get much further than a couple hours in before I grow bored and set it down.

Same, I guess IWD and the newer D&D CRPGs spoilt me because I played them first and when I went to check out BG I was so disappointed and bored with it. There were just too many things wrong with that old D&D 2nd edition system. "Whaddya mean I can't dual wield? WTH is THAC0?" *ragequits* Plus the story just dragged on way too much for my liking.

Actually you could Dual Wield in Baldur's Gate 2.

Should have been available in BG1 as well.

I feel exactly the same. I wouldn't say I dislike Skyrim, I just don't find it very special. Having played Morrowind to the death of me and also Oblivion quite a bit, I constantly get the "seen this before" vibe. Same goes for the Fallout games. Apparently, I too, don't know what RPGs are about then.

When I got my hands on BG1 back during the day I was super thrilled. I had been reading loads of fantasy books and playing BG fealt like playing a book. This is the kind of feeling I long for in RPGs. Bethesda games just don't cut it. Playing on the sandbox was fun while it lasted but it's starting to get really REALLY old.

I just started playing GW again to scrape up the final 5 points I want for my HoM and also started building up an import save for ME3 and honestly....I haven't touched Skyrim during the whole weekend :(

I don't have any interest in this saturation of 'modern warfare'-setting FPSes lately. I might say their popularity is disturbing except for the giant glass house I live in to be casting that stone.

The Halo series. I've tried to see what's so great about them, I've played Halo 1, 2 and 3 to the end and played the demo for Reach, I just cant see what's so great about this game. It's just another fps to me with bland characters, terrible writting and boring storyline.

Well there was a total conversion mod that merges BG1 with BG2 so that you can play BG1 and its expansion with all the gameplay improvements and classes of Baldur's Gate 2.

Yea I've played with TuTu, didn't really  change my opinion on the game. Sill had a bad D&D system.

And you *can't* dual wield in IWD, which btw, also uses  2nd edition AD&D  (thaco tables, et. al)

Let me just state that it is not enough to simply name names, an explanation of why is needed.

This thread get real boring real fast if names are named without explanations so please if you are going to post you are going to have to give a reason.

Skyrim. There, I said it.

It's a great game, very strong and a great RPG on so many levels, but I don't enjoy playing it. It's just not for me.

OK, I'm sorry but.... MDK2

Also, not a massive fan of Oblivion or Mass Effect for almost the exact opposite reasons - Oblivion because it was sparse, vague and dead and Mass Effect because it took wonderful production values, sound, graphics and story and just everything, then made gameplay all feel boring and on-rails. Both of those had insanely repetitive elements, too. I hate anything that feels like I'm doing repetitive, menial mental labour.

Agreed, although I love the bones of Skyrim and Fallout 3, Bethesda sandbox games have never really been a patch on Baldur's Gate when it was on form.

The only problem I have with them is replaying obsessively left me a little bored of the BG games, I would now probably rather click the Skyrim icon than the BG2 one. :)

I hate FF 13, WoW, The new CoD's, Deus Ex and many more but I can't remember the names because I don't remember names of games I hate that well..

I also hate Dead Islant and the new Assassins Creed's, I liked Dead Island at first but it just let me down, only thing good from it is the song and with AC Revelations just sucked, the Hoodkblade was rubbish and totally let me down lol

Mario, with a few exceptions: Mario 2 & 3, World, and 64. I enjoyed them at a young age, but now I'm just tired of it all.How much can you do with a bloody jump?

Despise is a pretty strong word. I'd say 'uninterested' is more appropriate.

Final Fantasy (Still going? Seriously? It's boring and the relationships between the characters are highly suspect. He looks waaaaaay too old to be sleeping with her)

Mass Effect (Let me explain. I just feel th--- Zzzzzzzz)
