There is something romantic about the idea of a threser beating a reaper though.. that'd be amazing.

Could have been a staged image.

Yes, and that is what Bioware promised.  I don't mean that for every choice, but consider that the Rachni virutally defeated the combined forces of all other races in the galaxy not so long ago (as Reapers count things anyway), and so the ME1 Rachni Queen decision should have some extremely game changing consequences (especially when ME2 hints that they will as well).  The same applies to the Geth Heretic Base decision in ME2.  Of course offing or not offing the council is another one.......

Ther's more but that would require actual spoilers which I will not do.  Suffice it to say, my concerns about the writing in ME3 seem to be justified and verified by this article which was my original point.

I find this more interesting than the info on the War Assets.

The first image in the article shows Shep and Liara behind cover, and Shep's wielding the Widow, while Liara has a Revenant.  Weird seeing her with that kind of weapon.

Liara.... wielding a Revenant.... something about that phrase just makes my brain go numb. :pinched:

(although hopefully it means in ME3 that you can assign your squadmate/s whatever two weapons that you want them to have)

somethings wrong there...she can't carry the revenant.

Actually she can.

You know how?

Mass effect fields.

I don't know.  It's a BIG ass thresher maw.  And a very small reaper.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. If she can carry the revenant, well, she'd clearly be BW fave character. (Not like she already isn't). She'd be a mess of OP-ness

Yeah but it stretches my WSD (willing suspension of disbelief) past the breaking point.  If SHEPARD could take down a Thresher Maw on foot (admittedly with difficultly and likely with heavy weapons), there is no way that a contest between a REAPER and a Thresher Maw should be anything other than a mismatch in favor of the Reaper.

Biotics can use above 80 guns at the same time due to Mass effect fields, it's the Adept's new power. You've got an army of guns following behind you and whenever you shoot, everything infront of you dies. Including friendlies, as the Mass effect fields adds friendly fire.

Reminds of that Blasto video in Lair during the car chase.

While you're true, people really shouldn't have taken that statement too seriously. I mean, is there any game that does anything major when it comes to importing save files other than meanigless dialog and XP? No there isn't, and ME3 wouldn't be any different (though it does have more consequences than any other game, it's nothing to start brag about).

There's a difference between promising and hyping a product.  And there are changes based on your decisions, but there are design limitations.  It may not change the whole game, but they still matter.

What bioware said about choices and ME3 sounded a lot like a promise to me.  As for changing the whole game, I don't expect that for every decision, but there are a handful of MAJOR decisions of which I've listed two (and I don't consider these spoilers since anyone that's played ME1 and 2...which should be a given on these boards by this point) knows what decisions I mean) should absolutely have an IMMENSE impact on the game....but they don't.

the trigger the endgame part  makes me wounder if you will have time to get all the side quests done  when your meater  starts geting to a certain point or if like when you picked up the iff the timer started and you got had x amount of time to finish missions and go threw  the relay for the end game ...

hopeing its like the iff and can be avoided till all side quests are done you want to do before you  trigger the end game.

It was the first bit of info that drew my eyes too.

It's good that I don't have to bribe people with dinner to make sure my adorable fishes gets fed.

It did.

To your Shepard's character.

ME1 choices are irrelevant to ME2 main plot, while in other hand are for ME3 main plot.

Personally I feel this to be a terrible idea as I hated Sawyer on LOST not to mention I hated the show after the third season :pinched: (should have quit earlier but the premise of Dharma kept me interested and when they dropped it, I quit.)

Though, hell, the news is pretty damn interesting but Kaidan gets injured? GAWD WHAT. I am duct taping him to my side, you hear me, Bioware?!

I can hardly remember that character, because it's been years since I last watched Lost.

Stopped caring when they just kept bringing in more and more stuff.
