Since he skipped Sur'Kesh while he could have played mission on Tuchanka after it.
Also after Mars he says Shepard went to Citadel and yet he said nothing about.
Not even something very brief and with no spoilers.
Plus according to leaked script, Eva had much larger role then just to be killed for good. At least without choice to let her live.

Not true. As Shepard is a protagonist in an RPG, Shepard's character is what you make it to be. Within acceptable limits of course - every Shepard wants to defeat the Reapers for example, not go off and do something silly like try to control them or join them.Fixers0 wrote...

It did.
To your Shepard's character.
But Shepard has no Character.

Here's what the Mars description says:
"Once considered a prospect for terraforming and colonization, the discovery of faster than light travel turned Mars into a quiet backwater."
That does not say "They terraformed it" to me.
Huh.
Well, it doesn't rule out that they are able to terraform planets.
Didn't Batarians went to terraform that planet where Jack, as a kid, was tortured by Cerberus, but failed and abondon it.
And Geth did terraform planets in Firewalker and one of N7 missions.

This sounds fantastic! Although I dont like the sound of action mode, I know I dont have to (and wont) use it, but to me it sounds like a canon storyline.
Or a Default storyline.

Well yes. It wouldn't bother me but this to me sounds like a move they've made for default choices for the next game, as I doubt there'll be a save import. So certain characters might be dead in the next Mass Effect game no matter what. Hopefully not, hopefully they'll introduce another comic like genesis but alot better.

No. They introduced some non-native, engineered species that completely screwed up the ecosystem.

Yes but there's already a canon storyline; the default Shep in ME and ME2: Maleshep earthborn sole survivor, Kaidan dead, council dead, rachni queen dead, etc...
But who cares ? you'll get your custom Shepard, and Bioware can extend their fanbase, it's a win/win situation.

Sorry didy. Won'thappen again. On topic though, thanks for the article and I am getting even more psyched on the game.
It's not a huge deal. I got sucked into it at one point too, but it just got out of hand and took over the thread, and I don't want to resurrect it.

That's not canon, that's default. It's also sex-dependent: play FemShep, and Ash is "canonically" dead. And no, male isn't the default: to even start a new game, you have to pick a sex first. The game won't do it for you.

I know this, but without the save importer (the 360 is on it's last legs, it wont be around for long) most of my choices wont matter (unless they do another comic but one that's actually good) and I'm sure Bioware will want someone in the next game to add attachment to the past games. What if we had another Virmire situation but it was made canon? I'm just voicing my concern anyway, I doubt it'll happen, but the posibillity is disconcerting.

There's going be a recap of what you did in ME1 and ME2 at start of ME3.
If it's a non-import New Game, you'll have choices during it.
Though it won't be a comic.
It will be either in game hearing( too soon for trial), flashbacks( in game, cutscenes, still images...), news reports( in game, live action...) or something else.

Who the hell would even buy this game and play action mode? What kind of idiots do Bioware think we are?
I
thought the same question because the dialogue and decisions are my
favorite part of Mass Effect but now that I think about it, I'm sure a
lot of people will use action mode. Especially since EA is marketing
this game towards the third-person shooter crowd, they're going to see
this dialogue wheel and all this boring talking and wonder what the hell
they just bought.
Yeah...I really don't get it. IT IS A RPG. not A FPS or more tipped to action. Its RPG SCI-FI with action elements. Jesus, why would people even buy this inferior shooter to Gears of War 3 or Uncharted 3? I guess those are more fitting if you seek action.

People who are not you.
Sucks to be them! I mean, I do not buy Halo and expect a super awesome story and RPG elements so why the hell should Bioware give in and make action oriented only game play to people who expect action only from an RPG. What kind of people would even buy Mass Effect for ACTION only? Thats just....strange.
Do this mean we get dialog wheel and paragon/renegade options in CnC Generals 2? =S I would not really like to see that in Generals 2. Since its RTS and not a freaking RPG.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the game was going to pick random choices for you. So everytime you play the game in action mode, the story will be different.

Totally random choices? Bipolar Shepard FTW? My best guess was that when you pick Action mode, at next step you pick alignment.anlk92 wrote...

As stated in the OP, Action mode selects a mix of Paragon and Renegade options for you.

Actually, as no real info on how good the combat is to play it is a bit premature to say that it will be inferior to GoW 3.
And as for who will want to play action mode? People who would like a quick action romp. Maybe even people who would also play the MP portion, andbought the game for that reason.
ie. Not BSN members.

See, now *that* would be interesting. Even you, the player, would have no idea how the game itself was going to turn out. But somehow I suspect it's not going to be random choices all along; rather, it's just going to be a set of pre-selected choices as laid out by BioWare.
