FemShep is not important. There is no need to put her in magazines or give her a trailer.

She is to roughly one-fifth of all ME players.

Thank you for your kind words.

I'd assume it's ACTUALLY because Bioware wants to save all that for the Femshep Trailer they're supposedly putting out before launch.

On topic.( I think.. Had a couple of beers too many..)

Regarding the people that take the mars mission as confirmation that the entire script leak is correct.

It makes a lot of sense that the first mission(s) is the same as in the script as they are most likeley the first to been finished. That do not mean that the rest of the script havent changed since the leaked script was written.

Furthermore, the same people also seemed to think that it was fully refined. It may well be that the plotline is set, that doesn't mean that there will not be refinemnets to the script. And thet little refinement can make all the difference.

Excuse the spelling and grammar, slightly pishhed.

Which is over 600,000 people.

So Bioware is pleasing over 36 000 000 dollars with that marketing move.

I agree.

None of the planets/environments will change from the leaked script as they will have been in development for months, possibly years.

This thread is not about the turians.

Then I'm sorry about this, but I think it might help clarify a few things.
http://masseffect.wi...com/wiki/Turian
"The turians then filled the peacekeeping niche left by the
once-cooperative krogan, and eventually gained a Council seat in
recognition of their efforts."  "Eventually, the turians implemented the salarian-developed genophage.
With their advantage in numbers removed, the majority of krogan were
subdued by 800 CE, although scattered insurgent actions would continue
for decades.  By 900 CE, the turians were granted full membership on the
Citadel Council..."  Given that, I would say it's not entirely illogical to conclude that the turians could have been an associate Council species in the interim between the Krogan Rebellions and the turians gaining a Council seat.

Back on topic, it looks like we're going to get a cool opening sequence for ME3.  Nothing else can be directly deduced from this article without speculation or references to the leaked script (which, as I've said in a few other threads, I don't think is entirely reliable.)  And just because the opening sequence in the demo is similar to the opening sequence in the leaked script, that doesn't automatically validate the entire leaked script (which wasn't exactly complete anyway).  I agree that the devs wouldn't have had time to do more than just a few minor tweaks based on the whining feedback from the BSN, but some things might have changed later on in the story between when the leaked script was written and when it was leaked.

Liara with a Revenant? That's my girl!

I wonder if "Liara with Revenant" means that we can assign any weapons to squadmates (possibly with limitations) or just that she has Samara - like build.

Which is very weird, because she's had her original loadout up until now.

Don't know if this has been posted yet, but I just finished reading the ME3 piece in OXM. Not much more in there:

- It mentions 'combos' of powers; eg, hitting an enemy with another power after neural shock will 'shock all their friends'. Enemies who you've incinerated you can explode, setting their nearby allies on fire.
- Mentions huge improvements in AI and stresses need to think strategy in combat; states that 'even easiest difficulty will be a challenge.' Also mentions 'location-specific' damage on enemies, and being able to 'dismember larger enemies'.

Aside from that, nothing to note. The article makes a small mention of the social networking and smart phone apps that will contribute to the war asset rating.

Casey mentions the Mass Effect anime, stating they've 'found a really great story to tell'.

There is a pic of new default Femshep.

Does it mention how they work, or just that they exist?

Also, I'm liking the AI improvements and the dismemberment on some enemies. Insanity is going to keep me busy I imagine

I'm afraid not, but it states that there will be apps for iPad, iPhone, Facebook and Google+. Calls them 'mini-games', but says there's been no info on how they'll work.

I might use the Facebook one - not going to say no to an extra war asset or two - but then again I don't want it clogging up my page like most FB games seem to do. I don't understand how people can stand having their profiles covered with things like Farmville or Mafia Wars. So as long as it isn't too intrusive I will use the FB app.

I hope they reveal what they are soon.

Therum was completely different originally ...and it is arguably one of the very first missions in ME1
