I don't know. I imagine you'd just play dumb. I mean, why would you admit to that?

We're still talking about Shepard, right?

Yeah. If you're gonna sabotage it, you wouldn't be obvious about it.  Nor would you have any reason to tell the krogan the salarians put you up to it after the fact.  Not during a game in which you're ally-gathering to stop an apparently unstoppable enemy.

Just for curiosity, who he was?

Another Spectre. He (or she?) didn't even have a name and was basically entirely removed form the plot along with many events he/she was part of

Actually, wasn't it this part of the script where a pretty important plotpoint with a character referred to as ''PARTNER'' occur?

That was on Eden Prime AFAIK.

You forget that this is BSN. Which must blow everything out of proportions at every opportunity available. And then whine obsessionally about it.

I would actually like to speak to both Mordin & Wrex before administering the cure.
All right Wrex, you can have the real cure... BUT and this is a big, stinky BUT, you must control the crazier of the Krogans or I will have to medieval on your regenerative asses.

Hopefully Wrex understands that many members of his people are not hugs and kisses like him

But if I'm RenShep and I agreed with TIM's plans on keeping the Collector's Base and human dominance, why won't TIM at the very least offer Shep to aid him?

I'll derail my own a thread a bit longer:  you don't agree to keep the base because it advances human dominance. It's done entirely because of the Reaper threat. As I said, even the purest of RenSheps never wholeheartedly supports Cerberus, and that's not an exceptionYou always call TIM out on those ambitions at the end, and remind him to keep his mind on the real goal: defeating the Reapers.

Because they removed the renegade base kept dialogue.

Then again, why would you sabotage your allies in the first place if you desperately need them?

Bioware also said that the leaked files were from a "very old" script and that significant changes had occurred implying that the actual game was little like the leaked plot.

If you look hard enough, you might say that Bioware might technically not have lied, but they IMO were certainly dishonest.

Thanks for the write-up, didymos, lot of interesting information in there (sounds like a good 90% of the content described in the article matches the info described in the leak, which I have no problem with since I loved what I heard in the leak B) ).

Something I wasn't aware of till now was encountering TIM on Mars and him basically "writing your off" cause he doesn't need you anymore (yeah, big freaking shock  ) and getting a glimpse of Kai Leng in the TIM's room (I do rather hope this guy proves to be as every bit of a villian as Sarren was in ME). Also nice to hear confirmation on the "mistrust" dialogue between Shepard and the VS, that that issue is not gonna go away anytime soon for them.

I just created a solution:

A: pick real cure
B: pick fake cure
C: instawin by paragon / renegade

However, lets think about it. If you pick A, you're going to lose the Salarians, right? If you pick B, you might betray Wrex. But you also know you can give Krogans the real cure at any point after the war. Keeping that in mind the choice is obvious: use the fake cure. Maybe it keeps Salarians and Krogans in the alliance (and you need them both). If you pick A, you'll lose Salarians, which means less ships for your cause.

Just an idea.

I know, it's just my fears are reconfirmed. They could've changed the context of a few things to make it have more sense (which, tbh, is what I expected them to do), it didn't need to be an overhaul.

In this case, because it'd be a short term advantage: it's not like krogan will instantly know the cure worked.  So you appease the salarians and lead the krogan on, letting them think you gave them what they wanted.

PARTNER, if you must kno, was a Mexican vaquero who shot everything on sight, whilst humming the theme of The Three Caballeros.

He was accidentally revived by Cerberus, instead of Shepard, due to a mistake in a logistics report.

That was just alternate stuff from TIM.  There was no alternate Shep dialogue there.

And where did BioWare actually promised any changes? Ray Muzyka saying "the team listens and when they feel like, they MAY incorporate some suggestions" does not equal Casey Hudson saying "yes, we WILL change stuff based on your feedback"

If it was about Cerberus, I think it was impossible to think that Bioware will change their role.
It it's about something else, what didn't you like in the other quests?

It revives my fears in full about the Rachni Queen.  I can't go into more depth without spoilers but suffice it to say, it seems that BW has disrespected our major prior choices by making them irrelevant.

Apparently, that translates to: "We'll change everything!" in BSN's language.

I don't know well about the Rachni Queen's role in ME3 (could you send me a PM about it?) but what mission revives your fear?

Well, since a specific plotpoint is almost sure to carry over now, Seth Green's jokes/dreams are bound to be fulfilled.
