I also liked DA2. The recycled environment assets were meh, but I really enjoyed the party members and less sluggish combat. I haven't met anyone IRL that hates it to the extent that the internet does.

Apparently genuinely liking Skyrim is now the minority if the other thread is any indication.
Liking Skyrim is definitely not the minority if you look at the players stats on Steam.

Dead Space 2 on the other hand, it was good as an action title but as a horror title it was just trash. Absolutely no pacing to it.

I actually liked DS2 the most myself (which from what I've seen seems to be a minority position).bobobo878 wrote...
Dead Space 1. I know it gets a lot of hate from everyone for being all jumpscares and no atmosphere, and for being an action game and not a true survival horror game, but everyone is wrong. Dead Space 1 totally is scary, and it exceeded Resident Evil 4 as both an action title and a survival horror title.

I didn't really find any of them to be scary though.

How can a game with some of the worst stealth mechanics with broken gameplay and some of the worst hacking/lock[picking minigames ever to be created be a good stealth game?EntropicAngel wrote...
Well, since apparently people dislike Obsidian games, I'll say that I've liked their games. KotOR II and Alpha Protocol (which is like the one decent non-Splinter Cell present-day spy/stealth game).
I also liked what little I played of TOR.

But I haven't heard much in the way of any kind of criticism, so, is it actually disliked by the majority?

Because the stealth gameplay isn't broken.

But yeah, much as I love Alpha Protocol, it's not exactly good when it comes to stealth (not that I ever used stealth, I just went through the whole game killing everything with the hilariously OP Pistol Critical Hits).

It was the last hurrah of Ensemble Studios and went fairly well. Wasn't particularly innovate, though - if someone's played any of the major RTS's, they wouldn't be really be getting something new. Having said that, it was fairly well balanced and entertaining regardless. Considering the framework of the creatures/vehicles/etc. fit very closely to Starcraft, it wasn't too hard of a sell. Console RTSes can work - not perfect, but it's close. I greatly enjoyed C&C3 on consoles.Halo Wars. It was a really good attempt to bring RTS to the console, had a different mechanic with the base concept. I really want another. But I haven't heard much in the way of any kind of criticism, so, is it actually disliked by the majority?

But Fallout 3.
Not saying that it's better than the others, but I honestly didn't have a problem with it.

Some games are just like this and I ignore them.
This game was my childhood gem (Amiga version), instead of Mario and Sonic:

I never said it's stealth gameplay was broken, I said it had horrible stealth mechanics with broken gameplay. Both are seprate issues. Someone already mentioned one of the massive issues about the gameplay which breaks the point of sneaking.EntropicAngel wrote...

AP strength was its writing, not its gameplay, people who enjoyed AP even admit that. Very few people ever say anything positive about its gameplay.
