Although it might be because I never met anyone who has played this awesome game yet.

Resident Evil 5 (I don't get the hate directed to this one, it's the same as 4...with a less silly story and without the Spanish-talking farmers)
Better story, better voice acting, better script, better characters, better gameplay, better... well, everything, really. It's not as "creepy" as RE4, and really that's the only downside to it.
It also helps that the game was actually relevant to the seres storyline rather than being a sideshow like RE4 essentially was.
And I'm calling it now: Resident Evil 6. Most people have already made up their mind that the game blows, and I'm one of the five people in the universe who thinks otherwise. I loved the demo and I'm picking up my copy next Tuesday.

The reputation system in ME2 seemed to be a hindrance to role playing. It converted all the dialogue interaction with NPCs into a sort of minigame to collect Paragon or Renegade points instead of choosing whatever you think your character would want to say or do.
Adding the neutral reputation in ME3 fixed this problem, also the level design in ME3 was a lot more interesting in certain areas.

wut. I doubt more than two people dislike Majora's Mask, much less everyone.
I only see that it's sometimes marked as inferior to its (best game of all time) predecessor, not that it's a bad game itself.

Far Cry 2 a bit, because even though it's tedious for long stints, it is lots of fun to dive into quickly every now and then.
PS: I'm not sure "CoD people" is a valid concept. I think loaaaaads of RPGers and even BSNers like a good FPS as much as anyone else. Not all, but lots.

With Majora's Mask, I loved the narrative but dreaded some of that level design. Zelda has a bad reputation with water-based levels... Overall I still liked the game a great deal. It had a greater taste of originality than OoT did.
