End of The Line for DA2 DLC?

Like i said, If Bioware really (And i do mean REALLY) care about DA2, they would have said something, but it looks like they care more about ME3 and what not then DA2. Maybe DA2 was a failure to them and by not saying anything is their way of distancing themselves from it. <_<
More speculating. Why cant you just be patient and not make false assumptions? They will post something about it when THEY CAN!<_<
Honestly, I think the reason these people keep saying there will not be any more dlc is because they believe their whining will some how "persuade" Bioware to finally make an announcement. It's clear that they are still working on something and, as you said Melca36, they will announce it when they can, despite what the negative Nellies say.
The problem is most people have an overblown sense of self entitlement and they think this reverse pscychology will work.

BrotherWarth has a point, How does the launch of a new game last year effect announcements from a different studio this year? How does ME3 coming out 5 months after MotA keep them from announcing something?
Then post a new thread with a topic that says "Have you given up on DA:2 Bioware?"
If you're so concerned...go for it.
I triple dog dare you.

In this here thread we are speculating about whether or not we are going to be getting any further DLC for DA2.
If you think this is all just to try and twist Bioware's arm for an announcement, then sadly you are wrong.
As much as we'd like to hear something, we also like discussing the likelyhood of getting DLC.
It's a fun discussion.
You don't like it? Well...

Like i said, I have seen "Is the DLC for DA2 over?" or "Has Bioware given up on Dragon Age?" Threads before asking the same questions about the lack of DA2 DLC and Bioware has not responded to any of them, let alone Chris Priestly with his iconic. Even in one of the interviews, Mike Laidlaw hesitated when the question of any DLC to dragon age 2 was brought up before him. Somehow i think he knew that game was an utter failure.
Yeah see, now why would Mike do that?
Only one reason: the future of DA2 is uncertain.
I bet they still have no clue on what to do with it...

I wonder. If the folks that made DA:O worked on DA2 while also making DLCs for DA:O would that have contributed to lack of content for DA2? I mean you only got so many hours in a day and so much time till deadline delivery. Maybe less DLC and more main game programing is needed?
No, it was basically a very small team from the Origins team doing DLC for Origins while the DA2 team worked solely on DA2. No one but writers were splitting their time.

if its good they will put it before the release of mass effect 3, so they can say hay this is what mass effect is gonna feel like, on the other hand if they feel its gonna be a piece of garbage they'll put it after the release , and the sales pitch will be from the makers of mass effect comes dragon age dlc.
ive seen a few of these examples

Seriously? You really believe this is how they do things?
I'm sure if they really thought their own DLC is garbage, they wouldn't release it at all.
And let's just be clear, Bioware does not release Dragon Age DLC to show their fans "this is what ME is going to feel like".
Either you need a reality check or you're trolling...I kinda hope it's the latter.

It's possible that they planned for four DA2 DLC additions, but poor sales and fan feedback forced them to reprioritize and scrap the last two bits of DLC to focus more on DA3. Not saying that's exactly what happened, but it's fully possible.
At this point, I'd say this is most likely correct.

really ? you think they wouldnt release crap that they knew was crap from the word go? if that was the case their would be no sh ite movies in the world, they release it cause they no someone is stupid enough to buy it.
and i dont care what you say when they release a dlc its always promoting, If a newcomer comes across the dlc on xbox live and decides to play the game hes hit with the words 'From the creators of mass effect', creating a expectation for mass effect

You have to pair it with an outrageous statement. Something really left field that makes the DEV's go, OMG I can't let this slide! And boom...answers with snark. Snark is a bonus.

They've been in this forum to cry about posting in old threads and petty DAO vs DA2 arguments, so they've obviously seen the thread but giving a straight "yes" or "no" is too hard for them.

Worst case scenario -- Bioware has given up on DA2 (DLC wise), and now just working on the release of DA2 in Japan and DA3. And the last time I've check here on Social Bioware site, MOTA got TERRIBLE FEED back. The only DLC that got high praise was Legacy. Plus! it's been WAY too long (based on DA:O DLC's release) with no info on anymore DLC updates and there hasn't been ANY news of them working on anymore DLC's. I think it's a done deal, but Bioware is more than happy to prove me wrong.
There will be at least one more that paves the way to DA:3. And I take it you haven't read this....

They are not going to announce something just because you want it NOW! Thats not how the world works.
