I think we'll hear about this after Mass Effect 3 is out. Either way DLC or not I'm ready for more action of the game in between my ME 3 runs.
I'm playing Da2 now trying to find a way around the bug I'm experiencing. If I find away around it I'll buy dlc or if they patch it. Speaking of which I hope they take their time with Da3 and any future dlc to prevent import bugs and other embarrassments

Same here. They'd be killing the DA DLC sales.

It doesn't rule out more DLC at some point in the future, but... I think they've moved on.

I agree, but like i said If they don't announce anything more about DA2 DLC by the time ME3 comes out or by the end of March, then they might truly be done with it. I have a feeling that the story with Hawke is done just like the story of our Warden was done as well.

We already know that the DA3 plans are complete and work proper is being done now. So the franchise is back at least one more time, and they have the anime and comics dropping now. It's not surprising they would have a panel for both principle franchises, even if they don't have any real news.

What's not to get excited about from the possibility of new DLC? Many people highly enjoyed Legacy and MotA.devSin wrote...
I wouldn't get excited as it relates to DA2 (although you're certainly free to, if you like).

There would be something to get excited for, if it were DA2 DLC or the expansion.
But a Dragon Age session is not an indication that anything related to DA2 is forthcoming. There's only two sessions they could have (DA and ME), and they're having them both, as expected. (There is activity on the DA front right now, after all, but none of it is related to DA2.)
You can hope for it, and you can want it (I do too). But I wouldn't bet on it, is all I'm saying.

Weather this could be DLC, the expansion, new tie-ins, or more DA3 rumblings. There was no indication what Chris Priestly was specifically referring to, so it may have nothing to do with DA2 DLC.

Yeah. Not being a downer but a DA panel doesn't automatically mean more DLC.

On the bright side, but less relevant to this thread, it will be DA news one way or another... so that should be nice, whether it's about DA3 or whatever else. Unless the news is, "Series cancelled."
Oh my God! Do you actually think they'd have a panel to tell people the series is cancelled? Try to think logically for a change.<_<

No, but the fact that Bioware even bothered to release a new patch for DA 2 does make me a bit more hopeful that we might see at least one more story DLC.

Yes. And remember, "Dragon Age" is no longer just about computer games. They (Bioware) seem to be getting excited about a lot of stuff these days (since making quality games in no longer priority #1), including animes, writing contests, coloring books with cute little pop-out characters....who knows! And then they'll get us all excited about some "big surprise" only to announce the next Dragon Age-themed candy bars!
All the fluff is totally meaningless without game content!
