Because complaining is fun and trendy!

Especially on the BSN. Its the only thing that keeps us coming back!

I find arguing enjoyable and I'm a masochist.

Understatement.

It's still pointless.

I didn't like how Saints Row The Third was handled at all when it came to the characters or how the FEAR games got turned into 90% mech warfare, but you don't see me b***hing about it.

The same logic of “If people don’t like what is happening with ME3 why do they keep coming here?” can be applied to those who keep responding to those same people. Why do you reply and respond to posters who you obviously reach stalemates with? If you don’t like the way a thread is going and you know the arguing is pointless, then why not leave that thread and excuse yourself from the debate/argument?

Coming from you, the guy who constantly shows up in all the threads that have Renegade/Cerberus/TIM in the title, that's pretty comical. And hypocritical.

I'm sorry it really is hard to distinguish the two here... especially on this particular thread -.-

Indeed. Then again, agreeing to disagree is boring as hell, debates however breed interesting discussion even if it gets redundant eventually.

See, jreezy understands.

It only sucks once it descends into petty name calling with no decent argument to acompany it.

Redundant? I'd call it insanity at this point. Every week we have a new 20-50 page Renegade vs Paragon, hetero versus ****** li, cerberus vs anti cerberus threads that more or less are saying the same things as before.

Those seem to be the only topics worth discussing. I guess discussing the gameplay/combat of ME3 is a ludicrus idea.

Yes, I know you can do nothing better than come with a "Like you" all the time.

You're off the edge of the map, mate. Here there be monsters.

I revealed your entire gimmick. I don't need to say more than "just like you" because that's on your level.

That's the thing, friend, I don't have a gimmick. Well, except for this new adding quotes at the end of my post-thing, which I'm already growing quite fond of.

I'll admit that previous post was an easy one, but being able to use your own words against you makes it quite worth it. Although I did leave out the more immature things in there, so don't you even dare suggesting comparing yourself to me...

For I beheld Satan as he fell from heaven... LIKE LIGHTNING!!!

Oh, Raul Julia, you will be missed. Rest in peace, you god of hamminess.

Regardless of whether you like them or not, the information in the books is canon. If you don't want to read them, then just check a wiki or ask someone about pertinant information. You can ignore the information in the books if you wish, but that simply means you come to any future ME related material with that much less information that could help put things into context.

By your logic you shouldn't care about any of the DLC either, like the shadowbroker DLC you reference.

DLCs are part of the game, a video game. Demanding people to read a book or books to understand their video game is stupid on so many levels that I don't even want to get started. Just try to sell people a video game that only makes sense if you read a book or more first. I mean they would never mention that in marketing and know why? Because people would go ... wait, what? Thanks but no thanks.

I read the wiki though and it is canon for me. But if I am required to read the book because there are nuances to situation that the wiki in it's summary didn't catch (which is likely to happen if the book is really good) then that's too much. If I want to read a book I'll buy a book. But if I want to play a video game I will not buy (and read) a book to do it.

I know for a fact etc ...

Funny how you are the guy who told me that I mistake facts for opinions.

Because you did. And you still do I see.

All my facts come from the novels, which are canon. Deal with it.

I'd have to see them to believe them. Deal with this.

You can easily see these facts for yourself if you simply just buy or download the books. Or just read the summary of those books on the Mass Effect wiki.

Come on. It's not difficult. Of course it's clear you're willfully ignorant when the facts are against you. But don't think you can get out of this so easily pall.

From the wiki:

His long-term plans are ultimately unknown, but he has many different projects all factoring into helping humanity achieve its rightful place. Currently, it seems that his main focus is on the Reapers after their discovery, realizing the vast threat they pose on humanity. He appears to dedicate all his vast resources to stop them by any means necessary.

Seems the wiki does not support your 'facts'.

No, the wiki actually proves me perfectly right.

Read the entire part that you quoted (especially the part I made white).

Did I miss something? I thought BSN is actually one big idealistic, blind and ignorant circle jerk by paragon TIM-haters, were the smart renegade players are the minority?

I once again bolded parts for you. If you don't really realize how this is not a proof for your opinion being fact then we really don't need to go any further because I am not really here to teach you how to read (and I don't mean just to put words together to sentences, I mean reading AND understanding, ie. reading between the lines).

This is clearly a paragraph that shows that the 'fact' that TIM supports humanity and opposes the Reapers is a picture alot of people probably have of TIM, but the door is wide open for speculation what his REAL plans are. Since that can only be known if you are inside his head, which none of us was at any point I'd assume.

If you watched Star Wars episode I and II you wouldn't think that Annakin becomes a Sith. People only knew because the knew the OT. Even the Jedi didn't really suspect him to betray them. Because what people do or seem to be is not always what they really are about. Your assumtion to KNOW FACTS is simply premature. Nothing more, nothing less. Not sure if you have an agenda or are simply trying to convince yourself of something, but at this point I'll just let go because if you don't see my point now you will probably never.

@Alex:

You can bold parts all you like but the fact is that you're just cherry-picking words on a wiki that isn't even canon.

The books are canon. If you want to cherry-pick words, go cherry-pick them from the books.

@AlexXIV:

Again: It doesn't matter what TIMs long-term plans are, we can deal with that AFTER te reaper wars. Right now THE REAPER are your top concern. You have to stop them and TIM wants to stop them too. That's the ONLY THING that matters RIGHT NOW.

But if you still don't get this now, you never will...

But the same holds true for EVERYONE.

Hackett aPPEARS to work against the reapers.
Shepard APPEARS to work against the reapers.

>insernamehere> appears to >insertactionhere>

At the end of the day, unless youcna read minds you can never by 100% sure. 99% sure, yes.
And more sure the more actions conform to the expectation.

Congrats! That is probably one of the most blatant, blunt insults of BSN. It's refreshing as this place honestly has too much sarcasm and rhetoric.

And don't you dare insult Wheatley! He's awesome!
